Villa vacation rentals in North Island

The villa we stayed in was well presented with beautiful surroundings. We stayed only for a night but would certainly come back to experience everything the place have to offer.

The house is situated on top of a hill with a breathtaking view. Our families of 10 adults and 4 children spent four nights at the lodge. The house is like maze. Plenty of space for everyone. It's clean, fresh linen and towels and reliable wifi. The kitchen is very well equipped to cater for large groups. The outdoor BBQ and pizza oven were a bonus. Plenty of things for the kids too i.e. trampoline, table tennis, throwing darts and toys. Great communication from the host Daniel. He sent clear and easy to follow instructions a few days before our arrival. We want to go back again and would definitely recommend this place.

As a group of 8 people we had a great time during summer here. The hosts were of great help when we had some “parking issues” with our trailer - they organized someone to pull us out of a ditch ;-) and that truly saved our vacation. That was amazing. Whatever was missing was quickly organized. Unfortunately an all-year fire ban on GBI meant we were not allowed to use the outdoor fire place, and since the nights get cold quickly we were looking forward to sitting in front of the outdoor fireplace in the evenings, which obviously did not happen. Also, the utility of the massive balcony is close to nil - it was either burning hot or freezing cold out there. In that regard, if you look at this place, consider that what you get is somewhat less than what you might expect from the pictures alone. Despite these drawbacks we would love to come back any time.

We absolutely loved this beautiful historic home and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff were extremely discreet but available if sought out. We were impressed with the access to chickens and consequent fresh eggs, and small vegetable garden. On arrival the home had every set of French doors thrown open. It was airy inviting and thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. The Fitzroy Port area is a little remote from the busier Southern part of the Island but with a rental vehicle this was not a problem,. and there are a number of walks available within the area to not require a vehicle should one use not to hire one. Food is expensive on Great Barrier and it is recommended to stock up and take supplies in a chilli bin with you. There is a store on the Fitzroy wharf which is well stocked however, should you run out of your supplies. The property also has a jetty of its own and can be booked and used to moor your boat should you arrive by sea.

Tracy’s place was outstanding. A quiet setting that was walkable to great parks, restaurants, and shops. The home was spotless and comfortably accommodated our party of 6. Would highly recommend to stay here and will hopefully be back in the future! Thank you Tracy for allowing us to stay there! Loved it.

Great place to stay. Well we’ll thought out property and comfortably accommodated our group of 8. Has absolutely everything you need. Great quality linens and towels etc and the whole place felt fresh and clean. Team was great to deal with through the booking process

This place was amazing!!! We booked the whole place and had a family reunion with 15 adults, 2 kids and an infant and the villa was perfect! If anything she under sells how wonderful it is!

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. It was clean, had a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sofa's. The living spaces for our group of 9 women was perfect. We loved our time here and will definitely be back.

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

The Longbush Estate exceeded our expectations for our family gathering! The spacious property was immaculately maintained, providing plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Our children absolutely loved exploring the grounds, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The interior spaces were comfortable and well-appointed, making us feel right at home. Check-in and check-out processes were seamless and hassle-free, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this exceptional property and would highly recommend it to other families looking for a special getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The place was warm and cosy, with lots to do and space to spread out. Sarah was lovely to deal with - clear communication and instructions.

Could not speak more highly of this place. It literally felt like home away from home in the sense that it didn’t have that typical air bnb feel; super homey vibe. Lynn was quick and efficient with communication which made check in super easy. The space is open and cosy, and literally had EVERYTHING you could need. The location is great as it’s close to everything but also not right in the busyness of it all. We had the best time during our time down the line and the accommodation played a huge part in it. Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

Once again, this has to be one of the best places to stay in Masterton. Close to all the amenities and the house itself is very roomy and has everything you could want for a comfortable stay - even a swimming pool and barbecue. Highly Recommend.

The property is beautifully presented, in a very quiet and picture perfect location. We had a wonderful time, and surprised ourselves with the good rest we all had. The living space and outdoor area are massive, and it is a very perfect location for a weekend away.

The place was clean and spacious. The outside pool was lovely for those who were willing to brave it at this time of year. The spa and sauna were nice and relaxing. Overall it was a great weekend away, thanks a lot!
