Our well-designed studio is great for the solo traveler. This cozy accommodation has a double bed, private small bathroom and shower. Room has a cube-sized refrigerator with dishes and small seating space. TV-Free Zone. It’s located close to the main building near our grill courtyard and communal fire pit. It is not a freestanding cabin. There is a porch area with a table and two chairs right outside the door overlooking landscaping near the main parking. The Highlands is an adult-only property.

You are going to love being within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, groceries, convenience stores, post office, hardware stores, gas station, river trails, and park. You will be in the heart of the Redwood forest close to the entrance of Avenue of Giants, Humboldt Redwoods state park, Shelter Cove. Come and discover nearby sightseeing, wander the scenic north coast, or explore the redwoods just outside your room.

Patrick Creek Lodge Motel Room 6

The Patrick Creek Lodge is the perfect stay for your trip to the redwoods. Located on the confluence of Patrick Creek and the Smith River, this historic lodge is sure to charm all who stay. The motel rooms have a classic 60s vibe. King bed, a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker make it easy to bring and make food until our restaurant reopens. PLEASE NOTE - we are in the middle of a National Forest. The main lodge and bar are closed. WiFi is satellite and not your big city speeds

Trillium Cafe & Inn, Room #3

We have only 2 guest rooms. They are above the restaurant, have nice views of ocean and town. We are centrally located right in town within walking distance to beaches, headlands, shopping and restaurants. No need to get in the car once you arrive. We DO NOT accept small children, as the space is not safe for little kids. The windows don't have screens, and the stairs are very steep. We also are not handicap accessible. The restaurant is, but not the rooms.

The Longshoreman's Escape at The Grey Whale Inn

Welcome to The Longshoreman’s Escape at The Grey Whale Inn. Once a two-bed semi-private hospital room, this space has been reimagined into a serene coastal retreat. Clean lines, neutral palette, and a Queen bed create modern comfort overlooking Main Street. It blends history, light, and quiet luxury. Please note: This room is located on the 2nd floor and accessible via stairs only due to the historic nature of the inn. This room is also pet friendly.

Coastal Studio Near Downtown Mendocino

This is a Studio style room that is attached to a single family home. It has its own private entrance and private bathroom. It has a garden view from some of the windows. The unit does share a wall with the single family home. If we have guests occupying the house during your stay you may hear the other guests. The property is minutes from Downtown Mendocino. The studio was recently renovated it is light, bright and comfortable.

Our Thyme Cottage sits in the garden area of the inn's 6-acre property and has a back deck that beckons guests to venture outside and enjoy the scenery. Accessible through French doors, the back deck of Thyme Cottage is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning, while taking in the sunrise over the meadow and surrounding forest.

The cozy Creekside Room at Dennen’s Victorian Farmhouse is a guest favorite. It features a queen size bed, a large wood-burning fireplace with duraflame logs provided, and a panoramic view of the property. This is a pet friendly room. Enjoy complimentary access to our communal tea room, which offers a curated selection of local teas.

This sunny cottage enjoys great ocean and garden views from the living room, dining area, full kitchen and front ocean view porch. The living room has a flat screen TV, queen sofa-bed, and cozy gas fireplace. A private, oversized bedroom has a designer King Bed.
