Vacation rentals with a patio in Nordland

We stayed a week, and the location couldn’t be more picturesque. It is in an enclave of three buildings at the end of its own steep fjord, over 1 km inset from the one road connecting it to the rest of civilization. You really get a sense of the solitude that might be typical of so many homes in rural Lofoten or in Knut Hamsun literary works. Despite its isolation, the home – an ADU – had all modern conveniences working fairly well. Cell phone connection in certain weather conditions was sketchy on one or two occasions, but Internet was always strong. Kitchen appliances and climate control all worked well. Wood-burning stove heater had all the fuel you might want. Of course, visitors are very dependent on their car. The nearest shopping or tourist attractions, even gas/electric charge stations and convenience stores, are a 20-25 minute drive away. Finally, the hosts were completely accessible during our 1 week stay.

Excellent house and host family, great nature and fine village, we enjoyed watching the different kind of birds.

Everything we needed for 4 nights in the Lofoten Islands. Centrally located to explore the beautiful surroundings. The hosts are also extremely helpful and responsive. Would come back and stay here again 🙂

Very cozy and clean apartment. We had the apartment for one night as a stopover to the Lofoten Islands. Was perfect for our family of four.

Lise was extremely friendly and always responded quickly to our messages. We really appreciated being allowed to check in early on the day of arrival. The house is very spacious and comfortable, with convenient parking in the garage. Everything we needed was nearby. We highly recommend their home!

The views for this place were even better than the pictures can portray! There was a view outside of every window! The host was easy to communicate with and made it feel so welcome! This cabin feels like it's loved and part of a family. Such an incredible spot!

This was a win for us. So comfy, close to town, everything you could poss need including many hooks and places to put our things. And Kurt was above and beyond accommodating us when we misplaced the house key. Highly recommend this airbnb.

Great place, location and stay.

Staying at this place was the best last minute decision we could have done! It felt like Airbnb in its good old days - everything was clean, smelled nice and was well decorated. We even got cinnamon buns! We are only sorry that we couldn’t stayed longer. If we would ever come back to Narvik, we will definitely choose this place! 6 out of 5 for us!

We had a great time in Harstad and enjoyed our time here. We didn't have the best weather but Glenn's house was perfect for relaxing and watching the storm through the big windows.

We had a wonderful time at Therese's and Ron's place. the communication was very good. we stayed 5 nights at the accommodation and we enjoyed it very much. especially the whirl pool. :-) the house is in a very quiet area where you can relax very well. :-) we can highly recommend the place. :-)

Wonderful house just next to the sea with plenty of space and a large living room. Great host. We truly enjoyed our time there and felt immediately at home. If we’d ever get back to Fjørdgard, we definitely would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Beate’s place. Communication with her was fast and easy—she was always responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The apartment was clean and in a convenient location, close to grocery stores and other shops, which made getting what we needed really simple. Everything was as expected, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The space was perfect for a few days in Lofoten. Check-in was easy and flexible and everything was in excellent condition. The location of the accommodation is perfect to explore a lot of the Lofoten and still have a quiet retreat. Despite the fact that the apartment is in an annex to the residential building, you always have privacy and feel very comfortable. The view was unbeatable and delighted us every day. We would definitely visit again!

Jan's place is great, in a lovely and quiet place from which many trails can be done in the mountains and the sea. The house is especially beautiful with a lot of space, with all the amenities, very clean and comfortable. Jan welcomed us and hosted us with a very friendly attitude as if we had always known each other. We highly recommend Jan's place, we would love to come back to other vacations here as we felt like home.

Johnny and his wife are the best Airbnb hosts we've ever had. The apartment offers everything you need for a stay in Lofoten, and is perfectly located for exploring. Even better than the accommodation is Jonny's hospitality. The care Jonny takes is truly exceptional. We were invited for coffee, served homemade spring rolls, and his tips made it easy to explore Lofoten perfectly.

The apartment was very tidy, well equipped and lovingly furnished. Due to the location on the mountain and the large windows facing the fjord, we could even see the northern lights from the apartment. We would definitely book the apartment again.
