Nous avons séjourné 2 jours dans ce gîte et on a adoré. L'emplacement est idéal, la chambre très propre. Nous avons apprécié les espaces communs (salons, cuisine, salle repas) et les services à disposition (sauna, machine à pop corn). Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Etwas abgelegenes Hostel, ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit Saftmaschine, teebeuteln, Kaffeevollautomat etc. Es waren sogar grundsätzliche Lebensmittel vorhanden, die man nutzen durfte. Es gibt einen großen Gemeinschaftsraum mit ein paar Karten- und Brettspielen, einem Fernseher und einer PS4. Man kann sich Schneestöcke und Schneeschuhe zum Wandern mitnehmen. Auf jeder Etage gibt es ein oder mehre Toiletten und eine Dusche. Eine unglaublich gute Unterkunft. Kann man nur Weiterempfehlen!

Cosy apartment at FURU Hostel in Lofoten

We stayed in a private apartment at the hostel. We arrived late after dark and check-in instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and had the basics - clean beds, warm, very basic cooking supplies. It is an older space (bathroom and kitchen fixtures are outdated, but work fine), that has been spruced up with paint and some new light fixtures, but it worked as a short stay. The best part was the breakfast at the cafe! (Not included in the price.) It was delicious and had an amazing variety - highly recommend!

Beautiful surroundings, good place to stop by while on a roadtrip, easy to find with maps, room looked bigger in real life, plenty of space, private bathroom, everything you need for a good stay is there. Kitchen is shared, but we were visiting on off-season, so it was not a problem at all - kitchen had everything and more to cook a meal, even lots of seasonings. Also I noticed that garbage sorting was made easy, which we liked. The hosting family is very friendly and son of the family greeted us and gave us a tour which was very sweet. We recommend!

Very nice place! Friendly and peaceful with great common areas to relax in. They had blankets and games and puzzles for the porch area. Just note that you are a little out of town so if you don’t have a car you’ll need to walk 20 minutes for food. It’s a beautiful walk though!

Big mistake!!! We only stayed one night but we should have stayed all the time we spent on Andøa and the Lofotes (5 days). This place is a hidden gem. Nothing spectacular once you arrive but the beauty of the nature and hospitality of the owner grab you at once. We didn’t want to leave next day. There are so many things to discover. We will definitely come back. Lisbeth prepared great food for dinner and breakfast. We had dinner at some nice places in Norway (including Arresten restaurant in Andenes) but this was clearly the best (local ox cheeks so tender after cooking for hours). My wife is on a vegan diet and Lisbeth arranged greatly on very short notice (and it was not this artificial vegan precooked stuff). Lisbeth has so many great ideas and initiatives, some alive and others surfacing shortly. She was also super helpful providing ideas and contacts for the local setting. We were very thankful to find the place. Again, we will come back.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit d’étape chez Annett. Il s’agit d’une pension hôtelière ou « pension de famille », si vous préférez. Nous avions une belle chambre avec salle-de-bain privative, agréable et confortable, avec un accès direct sur la terrasse et vue sur le fjord, la nature tout autour. Un très bel environnement reposant et ressourçant après de longues heures de route. Une cuisine commune, très bien équipée, est accessible à tous, dans un respect parfait de l’intimité de chacun. Il y a aussi une très belle salle à manger. Notre court séjour a été des plus agréables, et nous avons eu l’occasion d’échanger avec Annett, qui nous a fait un très bon accueil.
