Family-friendly vacation rentals in Njarðvík

Wonderful place. Amazing location with horses and birds all around. Having the 2 separate cabins was great as were travelling as a family. Cooking facilities were excellent. We made good use of the hot tub even thought we didn't have the best weather for our stay. It was our final stay in Iceland and the location meant an easy drive back to Keflavik airport for our flight home. Would definitely stay again if we returned to the country. Thanks!

Great space. Ulrich’s place is located conveniently between Reykjavik and the golden circle. We were able to get around easily and the hot tub was so relaxing and inviting to come home to after a long day of exploring.

Very nice spot out in the country; cannot beat the view from hot tub. Very quiet and peaceful area to enjoy. There is plenty to do locally by driving around and checking out the beautiful sites and landscape that Iceland has to offer. It is a self sustaining cabin so we did need to clean up everything at the end which was easy and allowed us to truly get away from the city lights and we got to see some northern lights right off the back porch on the last night of our stay!

Stayed here with my family of four. Place is perfect. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. Felt safe and beautiful location. Were able to see the northern lights in a clear evening.

Fantastic location on a fun shopping street. The apartment is roomy and clean and perfect for our family of 4. This was an excellent place to spend a few nights. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect first stay of our vacation. Close to the airport, beautiful location. Communication with Solveig was good and clear. Directions are very clear. Cottage was clean and spacious. Definitely a recommendation to stay.

Sigurdur’s place is outstanding. Easy to get to, near everything we could have needed and a short drive to many attractions. This exceeded our expectations and will stay again on our next trip.

A great place to stay! The apartment is nice and clean with everything you need, it’s very close to the supermarket and bus stop 12 (pick up points for tours). Would recommend

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Lovely stay with a nice warm fire. Would definitely recommend.

The AIRBB was very nice. The bedding and beds were very comfortable, great black out lighting. The location was convenient to downtown and the local coffee shop was a great option for a quick breakfast. The property was clean, the kitchen well equipped and there was good communication between us and our host.

Ylfa was amazing and helpful- grateful to have been able to stay.

Great location to get to the city, start the Golden Circle loop and begin the South Coast drive.

What a wonderful time we have had! Amazing hosts, gorgeously warm & comfortable apartment, hot powerful shower which has been so welcoming after a long day of exploring & the most comfortable bed ever!! Check in at the apartment before you visit the supermarket (Kronan is the best!), as we found a wealth of condiments & bathroom toiletries already there which was much appreciated. It has been magical visiting Iceland: beautiful waterfalls, whale watching, glaciers, geothermal bathing & more. We’ve loved every single minute & can’t wait to come back! Thank you Kate & Siggy. Xx

Perfect apartment with perfect hosts, thanks so much for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. 5 mins walk from bus stop 1 where our trips were booked, house spotless and very peaceful. felt so relaxed here!

Super clean, spacious, cute place. Very walkable to the church and restaurants/shopping. Parks nearby for kiddos as well. Love that there was a washing machine as well.

Sigríður was a lovely host, very quick and flexible. I really liked her apartment. Great landing pad for one or two people.

Svava's place was perfect for our first trip to Reykjavik. We loved the location, close to the cathedral, shopping and restaurants. Her directions about getting to the apartment and getting inside were complete and helpful. The apartment was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed. Svava helped us find a place to buy a small appliance we needed. One note: the floors coverings have concrete underneath. Since you'll be taking off your shoes inside, you may eant to bring slippers.

My family of 4 had a great time here! It was a perfect location, walkable to most of Reykjavík, rainbow road, church, great restaurants. Parking was outside and we paid via an app and was pretty easy to navigate. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Hildur and Arnar were incredibly helpful and responsive and if we ever come back we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay in a beautiful part of the city. Jenny was very helpful and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
