Matti was very responsive and helpful. Check-in and check-out were very easy. His place is near the airport.

Hrafn's home was a great place to stay for our first visit to Iceland. Centrally located in Reykjavik, just minutes from the downtown area.

We couldn’t have dreamt of a better location for a trip to Iceland. Anna was superb in the least up and gave som many helpful suggestions. She was an impeccable host. So kind. Friendly and helpful. Thank you both for an idyllic stay.

Stayed here with my family of four. Place is perfect. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped. Felt safe and beautiful location. Were able to see the northern lights in a clear evening.

Perfect first stay of our vacation. Close to the airport, beautiful location. Communication with Solveig was good and clear. Directions are very clear. Cottage was clean and spacious. Definitely a recommendation to stay.

This was the perfect place to stay at the end of our trip, considering it was right around the corner from where we had to drop of our rental car. Thorhildur was very accomodating and had great communication, and by far it was the best place we stayed all week with black out curtains! The neighbourhood was quiet and there was plenty of information included for the area so we could enjoy a few last minute places before we left Iceland.

Vidar's place was as described, had enough space for the 5 of us that were travelling and adequate for our needs. The home was clean and free of clutter. There are instructions posted throughout the home with instructions on what to do when checking out. The home is located on the edge of a residential neighborhood and is within short walking distance of a few restaurants and convenience store with bigger supermarkets only a few minutes drive away. The only somewhat negative thing is that the temperature in the shower does not seem to be consistent. Overall it was a great stay at Vidar's place and would certainly recommend it for a group/family of 5 needing to stay somewhere near the airport.

Fabulous apartment with very easy access from airport. Comfy seats with the best view, close to shops & restaurants. We stayed for our first couple of nights in Iceland & was the perfect base to explore. Thank you!

Our stay was short but so memorable—we immediately felt at home. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the sea and Snæfellsnes on a clear day. The birdlife was incredible, with ducks, Arctic terns, and eiders all around. We loved the peaceful setting and the cozy campfire right by the house. Though the home is older, it’s been thoughtfully renovated and felt fresh and bright. The loft was a fun touch (just be mindful of the steep stairs), and being just 10 minutes from the airport made it super convenient. A perfect spot for nature lovers!

10/10. Maria and her family were wonderful hosts. From letting my children play with their pets to allowing us flexible check in and out due to our flight times, this listing is an absolute gem. Great water (drinking and bathing), beautiful yard, killer views. We saw the northern lights right from our windows multiple nights. I wish we could have stayed forever!

The most gorgeous place we’ve stayed at. I wanted the true Icelandic experience and scenery and we got exactly that! We loved the chickens and dog on the farm, beautiful and relaxing views from the balcony, and well equipped apartment. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming with cake and fresh eggs waiting for us. 100% recommend!
