Lovely little place to stay that was perfect for a couple. Had everything we needed and was very cosy. We loved the additional touches of snuggle blankets and the matching decor throughout. Fabulous shower! A little tricky to find and would be hard in the dark but that’s part of the adventure.

This is a great place for a couple, close to Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor, although you can go anywhere from there, very quiet and reasonably easy to find. I very much enjoyed my six months there and would have loved to extend my stay, Kerry, Simon and Sadie are good company and Tyson the dog is adorable, hopefully I can get back to visit someday. The island itself has so much going on and everything is easy to get to. A must for people that want to explore but have that quiet time

We had a wonderful stay at The Old School Mews for my fiancé’s 30th birthday, and we feel so lucky to have had great weather during our trip! The accommodation was spotless and very well-equipped—especially the kitchen, which exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of space for us all to relax in the evenings, and having TVs in every bedroom was a great touch (particularly for me, as I struggle to sleep without sound). The host’s communication was excellent, with quick responses via Airbnb. They were also very accommodating when we requested an earlier check-in. The location was ideal—just a short walk from stunning views A special highlight was the thoughtful welcome gift—a box of chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco—which made the occasion feel even more special. Honestly, we wouldn’t change a thing about our stay! It was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we’re already talking about coming back next year. Highly recommend!

The Air B and B was immaculately clean. It was like being at home as everything was accessible and the sofa and bed were very comfortable. There were lots of leaflets and Michelle had recommended restaurants before we arrived. Communication was excellent with the family and the earlier check-in was much appreciated. It is close to the old town of Shanklin and the beach and is easy to navigate to other places on the island. Michelle had provided a basket of local produce. There were some lovely delicacies and it was a lovely touch. The Air B and B has a bath - a lovely soak after lots of visiting and walking was lovely. If we returned to the Isle of Wight, we would definitely return to Michelle’s place.
