Venu was a great host - great energy, very helpful and responsive to all of my changes and requests throughout the stay. Venu helped organise an auto rickshaw driver for me during my stay as well. The accomodation is in a beautiful location, hidden away amongst the banana trees and very peaceful. If you want to get close to nature, then this is the place for you! I loved it, almost like camping, but with a real mattress - I even had a beautiful gecko visit my room! Sadly I visited during the off season so the restaurant wasn’t open, but it looks like a great space.

I would have gladly stayed on for much more than the one night we had booked. This was a very special place for us European tourists since it is located right at the heart of a village, within walking distance of its shops and activities, which is rare (hotels are usually secluded away). The village was particularly alive, for it was Muharram that night, and the whole village danced and sang all night. Our apartment was very comfortable, the rooms' decor was in very good taste, with beautiful handmade fabrics on the beds and cushions, lovely simple fixtures and a very nice overall design. The patio in which we ate dinner and breakfast that was courteously brought by Najaraj was also lovely and the food very good. I strongly recommend this place and would definitely book there if I was ever to return to Anagundi.

I recently stayed at Viru Rashmitha Homestay in Hampi for three days, and it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, Viru made me feel completely at home with his warm hospitality and genuine care. The homestay is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, allowing easy access to the beauty and history of Hampi. What truly sets this place apart is Viru himself—he goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need. I can honestly say he’s the best host in Hampi, and I’d highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area.
