House vacation rentals in Nikiana

The is situated on a hill with amazing views of the bay and the town of Palairos. It’s very private and in a very quiet area. It’s a 10 minute walk to the town where there are numerous restaurants serving delicious food beside the sea. The villa is extremely well equipped and spacious. We were a family of 6 plus a baby - we did not feel cramped at all. The pool is large and the outside space works really well. The pool area is surrounded by decking which suited us well as it was non slip. There is an outside fridge and an electric BBQ. We mostly ate outside. Susana met us at the villa and showed us around. She was very warm and welcoming and kept in touch with us before and throughout our stay - giving us information and answering our questions. I would highly recommend this villa and hope to return again one day.

We had a wonderful week in George's villa, starting with a warm welcome from his lovely mum who showed us around. We were then left in peace for the rest of the trip, although George always responded quickly when we sent him questions. The villa is even nicer than the pictures, great AC and plenty of towels. It is atop a hill, with no other villas or roads close by, so you're not overlooked and the view is breathtaking. We didn't hear traffic noise or even dogs barking at night, you feel tucked away in your own private space. The pool is perfect, and stays really clean thanks to the infinity design. The loungers are comfy with the grapevine shade. We used the outdoor BBQ and sat out on the terrace every day, though if you're eating outside you will attract some flies. The location is rural, so there were lots of bugs outside and occasionally inside - not a problem, but something to be aware of and bring insect repellent! There are screens on doors and windows to keep them out.

Our stay at Lefkas Blue penthouse was perfect. Marina was very friendly and helpful on arrival and throughout our stay. The penthouse was beautiful, the view from the balcony lovely and the pool was so lavish. Walking distance to town, thr house has everything we needed really. Thank you for having us!

A very nice place. We arrived very late and even delayed but this was no problem at all. Had telephone contact and Chris came to explain to us quickly and escort us inside so we could put our daughter to bed. It was very clean and the private swimming pool was super. Now the second villa happened to not be rented out, so even more privacy, but even if it were, you have enough privacy. Tip for the island: Rent a car. The cottage is a perfect point from which to go in all directions. Any tip is some more tea towels and dish towels for the kitchen.

We spent a wonderful 10 days here. The house is comfortable, cool, had plenty of space for our family of 5 and all the amenities we needed. The kitchen is great for cooking, though we often ate out too. Lahos, where the house is located, is close to Stavros, Exogi, Fríkes, Kioni and all the northern beaches (with a car). It’s quiet too, save for the bell of the local church and the sound of goats and sheep. The pool was a welcome place to cool off. Many thanks Serge.

It's a wonderful place, and hugely sweet hosts. They go out of their way to have a wonderful stay. And then they have the most beautiful sunset that we enjoyed every night. Lovely house. Lovely pool too.

We had an amazing week at Mint Villa. The pool was bigger than it looks in the photos and the villa is oozing with charm. Kids had the room at the top of the tower all to themselves which they loved and our main room was very comfortable with stunning views. Overall an exceptional Villa in a stunning location overlooking the bay below and the quaint port of Vasiliki.

Our family of 4 have just returned from an incredibl 8 night stay at The Olive Tree Villa – peaceful, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Dimitris is a great host – responsive and thoughtful, with a brilliant digital guide full of local tips. Check-in was easy via lockbox with clear instructions. The villa has aircon in all rooms, extremely comfy beds with lovely linen, super powerful shower, and a well-equipped kitchen plus a great outdoor grill. We loved eating at the big outdoor table and appreciated the welcome treats – selection of cold drinks, bread, and jam. Pool and outdoor shower fabulous. The local bakery "To Paradosiako" (15-min walk) is a gem for daily fresh bread and baked treats! Favorite beaches were in the South of the island - Afteli and Ammoussa – both with beachfront tavernas. Don’t miss the Folklore Museum in Karya (6 mins away). Overall, this is a wonderful, relaxing base – highly recommend. Book it if you can! Thank you again Dimitris x

Our stay at Harel's house was fantastic. Lots of privacy, opportunities to sit in both the shade and the sun. Comfortable home, cozily furnished. Everything was present as in the advertisement. The view from the terrace was perhaps the most beautiful of the house. Access to the beach within walking distance via a staircase with a fair number of steps. There are also a number of restaurants here. In short, a must if you want to stay in Vasiliki.

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Preveza. Spotlessly clean, fantastic terrace space, host was lovely. Highly recommended.

Kate welcomed me from check in, i came by myself. Her and her family took me to a local taverna that had just opened for the summer and we had a lovely time! The property was absolutely stunning, very close to the beach. I rented a bike in lefkada and the cycle ride took about 20 minutes and was beautiful, kate gave me a lift into town to go and get it. Cant express how much of a good time I had! An unforgettable experience and I hope I can return.

We felt right at home. The accommodation was exactly as described and in very good condition. There is also a daily cleaning service. Even the check-in at a late hour went smoothly. We will be happy to come back!

The accommodation at Basil's fit perfectly into a beautiful vacation! Large and well-equipped apartment in the quiet village of Dragano. We didn't meet Basilisa, we contacted her via cell phone, but everything was fine. New towels and linens were brought to us by his father, who also makes repairs in the apartment as needed. The beds are large and comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen is well equipped, it is also possible to cook. Even after the hot June days, the house was not too hot and you could sleep without using the air conditioning. We especially enjoyed breakfast with the buzz of bees and the beautiful smells of flowers. Parking is provided behind the house, in the shade. The whole island is very hilly, so this house is located in a way that parking at first seems problematic due to the downhill, but in fact it is very easy to park sideways and backwards. It has a maximum of 30 minutes drive to the most beautiful and picturesque beaches in Lefkada, from Kathisma in the north to Porto Katsiki in the south. We'd love to come back again!!!

We had such an amazing stay. Vasilis and Fani were amazing hosts that went over and above to help us feel like home. They are top super hosts!! The room was spotless and airy with lots of storage areas. It was the cleanest airbnb room we ever booked. Quiet and great for families with soft bed and quality pillows and towels. We felt like home and we will definitely come back again. The walking distance to the beach is 2 min and very close to Nigri. Thank you Fani and Vasili for making our stay so special and made us feel like home!!

The stay was amazing! If you’re traveling by car it’s perfect!! It’s in the middle of the island so it’s close to every beach and the views from the roads are GORGEOUS!!

Outstanding villa, view, service and island; we will definitely be back! Everything about our stay at the villa was about ease, luxury, comfort and feeling looked after by Eleni and her lovely father, Pano. Nothing was too much trouble. We explored all around the island by car, foot and boat, so many beautiful places to visit. Strongly recommend an evening at Fly Me bar, dinner in Sivota and a trip to Nidri and Lefkada town. Beautiful island .

The stay was perfect and the host maria and her son were very helpful and welcoming and gave us recommendations about the island and easy instructions about our stay . the place was very clean , organised . the towels and the bed sheets were smelling very fresh and wonderful perfume (we want to know the name of the brand by the way ;) ) The neighbours are very friendly and welcoming but unfortunately we cannot speak greek to exchange with them. The place is placed in a very quite private and peaceful location in the mountain and the breeze the evening was reviving. You need definitely a car to get there and an experienced driver as it is a quite challenging narrow and climbing roads. Overall it was a perfect stay and we enjoyed the turquoise beach of the beautiful lefkada. Thank you Maria and we will come again definitely

The accommodation was as described and was exactly what we needed for our stay. The host’s mother was very helpful and kind whenever we needed assistance. The accommodation was within walking distance to the downtown which had a lot of restaurants and shops. Also, there is a beautiful waterfall close by, definitely worth the visit. Would stay here again.

We were very happy with everything. Elena actively supported us in activities and was very eager to make our stay as nice as possible. The place was clean and everything was thought of. The kitchen is a bit small, but we already knew that before arrival. The grill is a good alternative to the many Greek restaurants that offer delicious food.

We had a great stay at Argiro & Manos house. The house was clean and tidy, and the space is very well organized and has all the necessary utensils. The outside area is a nice bonus and the same with the AC, even if we didn’t need it that much. Even if the house is at the main road, it was not a problem for us because during the day we were away, in the late evenings there were not that many cars and when sleeping is quiet with the windows closed. The house is very close to a great pebble beach and also at 10-15 minutes driving from Lefkada and Nydri. The hosts were very helpful and gave us great tips for sightseeing and restaurants. This place was paradise. Beautiful house with a million dollar view. The house is the perfect size. The outside is spacious and awesome ! The pool is something else! You have to experience it. The only problem is that the internet doesn’t work everywhere in the house. I definitely recommend this place.
