Beachfront vacation rentals in Nikiana

Elena is a very nice person, with a great personality, very communicative and helpful. The house is great, with everything that you need for a good stay, also very clean. It is a beachfront house, you have to walk max. 50m to the beach. The beach is mixed, stone and sand, it is quite private and very clean. I would warmly recommend that house to everyone. Thank you again Elena!

Really nice place to stay

Very nice and comfortable place with a fabulous view. Very kind, helpful, communicative and proactive host. Roberto helped us to rent a small boat to explore the local islands and we spent half a day in the sea all week, fishing and watching the dolphins, it was fantastic…Mytikas is a very compact, authentic and cosy place to experience. Recommended! We’ll come back!

We (my husband and I and our 2 kids (2 and 4)) had a lovely stay at Villa Rocca! The house has everything you need, is beautiful and has a laidback atmosphere. It is a 5 minute walk to the (pebble) beach and the nearest restaurant is next door! The other restaurants and supermarkets are about 10 minutes walk away. Really convenient! The only thing we missed a little bit, is a nice outside area to sit. There are two yards (front and back), but they are quite small and not very inviting to sit in. It didn’t really matter for us though as we were out most evenings. Lastly, Antonella is a very nice host! She is easy to communicate with, very friendly and super helpful. All in all, we had a great holiday at Villa Rocca and highly recommend staying here!

Wow. We had a wonderful week at the house! I was working remote and must say the internet connection was super stable and fast enough for video calls and everything 👌 The house is just amazing and very private. The pool for ourselves was a highlight. The beach is also just 1 or 2 minutes away by foot, as are the bars and cafes. The village is pretty quiet during the offseason, exactly what we needed! If you stay there longer make sure to shop at a bigger supermarket on the way there because the little shops have just essentials to offer. It was a special treat for us and we can more than recommend it! Thanks Ismini ❤️

What a great location. Beautiful sunrise looking out over the water with breakfast on the balcony was a highlight. Apartment located on the edge of Nidri within walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes whatever you need. Ideal location for hiring a car, parking off street right in front of apartment and a great base for getting around the island. Flexible check-in was another bonus for this beautiful spot. Highly recommend. Only downside, for me, was that we didn't meet host. But loved the place.

The house was absolutely fantastic. The beach was so close and private. Just awesome views everywhere. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots/pans, cutlery, utensils, dishes, cups, mugs and glasses. It was amazing to have a whole house to ourselves. Very peaceful, especially sitting on the beach. Caterina, our host, was perfect and communicated very well. We would love to stay again.

Amalia and Vasili made our stay incredibly easy, and they were always contactable and very helpful. Any time we needed anything at all. The location is magnificent and we had a wonderful time

Great house! Gal is a kind and responsible host who took care of all our needs. The on-site manager Rea was kind and responsive. The location is breathtaking with pleasant and cozy restaurants just a few minutes away. We highly recommend Gal's house for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation.

Very nice, well-equipped apartment located in a quiet environment, in a beautiful setting and very close to the sea. Brad welcomed us very warmly and made us want to come back.

A very good location in the centre of the village. The villa was very clean on arrival and as per the listing and the towels and bed sheets were changed when we expected them to. Thank you for allowing us to stay at the villa.

Great villa, very beautiful view and pool and lots of living area space for spending time with friends and family. Situated in a very quiet zone. Highly recommend it as a pure accommodation spot. However Pogonia and Paleros are still developing, there's not much to see around for more than 2 days so the best alternative is Lefkada which is pretty far away and can be pretty tiring (driving 2-3h/day). If you do plan on spending more time in Paleros/Pogonia this villa is your best bet tho.

We had a lovely few days. The villa, one of three, shares two pools with exceptional views. Valantis’s mother greeted us and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable, even bringing us home baked goodies and home grown fruit. An easy walk into the town by the beach path and we took the option of getting taxis back at a cost of €8. We took note of the recommendations Valantis gave and discovered Vathiavali beach and Mitikas which is a very picturesque Greek village and worth a visit. All in all, a lovely few nights in a great villa in a beautiful town.

This house is everything we were looking for, lovely swimming pool, beautiful view over the sea, relaxed and yet close to the village. Everything is exactly as in the pictures: breathtakingly beautiful. Ideal place to relax with (or without) children. 😊 Absolutely recommended!

Maria and the staff at Loop were extremely welcoming. The villa is in a fantastic location and was perfect for the two of us. Everyone was so helpful in recommending places to visit, eat and drink, making the week away as relaxing as possible. Definitely will be looking to return, but this time for 10 days instead of 7!

Such a beautiful stay the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The views are insanely beautiful and easy walking distance to the main hub of Kathisma and the beaches. Highly recommend!!

The apartment is exactly as described in the other reviews — directly on a beautiful, almost private beach with crystal clear water and a mesmerizing array of fish (some quite large). Beautiful terrace where we watched a dramatic lightning storm. Very clean, one bathroom, separate outdoor toilet. Comfortable living room and eat-in kitchen, all conveniences (iron, hoover etc, PS3 games control (which my sons loved), Greek TV. On the local very small beach there are two restaurants - Kavos (fabulous home cooking and service) and a slightly busier one further away. We couldn’t have been happier or more impressed with the apartment. The only problem we ran into was some difficulty buying food on the island (three small shops and an excellent bakery, but shops not always open). If we came again, as we hope to, we would stock up on everything in Mytikas before arriving. Effie is a truly exceptional host. The other reviews have it right — a fantastic place.

Perfect stay at the front of the sea. Vasso and Kostas are very nice and caring hosts. Very cozy house also clean and fully equipped. Highly reccomend!

Polytimi's summer house is located in a wonderful place: secluded in a preserved natural environment with private access to the beach and amazing views on the Ambracian gulf and still close to Vonitza and its nice family atmosphere. The house has a great garden and 3 covered terrasses and a private deck by the sea so you can spend most of your time outside. The house is well equiped and comfortable. Polytimi is living nearby and still very discrete and it's nice to discuss with her and get her recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants and farmers' markets in the area!

A piece of paradise on earth. Truly sublime. The house is located on the Ionian coast. The views offer serene beauty, with mountains and islands painting a breathtaking backdrop across the bay. The garden is well-maintained and has many terraces and places to repose or enjoy. The private beach offers a secluded space to swim. The house is tastefully decorated, and well well-equiped. Kitchen and living room offer all modern comfort and appliances. The design is equilibrious, adding to the peacefull radiance of the house. The bedrooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The bathroom is fully functional. The house has AC. The owner is friendly, flexible and helpfull, providing tailored recommendations . The region is beautiful, offering a broad combination of history, nature, culinary treats, sports,... Palairos is close (2 kms by car), and has a variety of shops/bars/restaurants/... . We hope to find ourselves back here, creating wonderful memories, in not too distant a future.

The house was so big and the view from the house was really nice. The beach was just in front of the house but a nice beach was just 7 km from the house. The owner was really kind.

This place was wonderful: the place is lovely with a sea of different colors as you see only in Greece. The house is equipped with all amenities and is truly facing the sea. Just cross the street and you're on the beach. In the garden there is a tree that gives you shade and with the sea breeze makes you feel like you're in paradise. But the most important aspect is having found Dimitrios who with his human quality, his availability, generosity and multiple attentions made us spend an unforgettable week. I think these are the most important aspects, more than great luxuries. We made a real friend. A special greeting to mother Elena, a charming and active woman who, even if she only speaks Greek, always makes you feel comfortable. We would miss the conversations and laughter that we had with Dimitrios, always prudent and always respectful. I wonder if we'll come back someday... Thanks again Dimitrios.

It was just great. A beautiful and peaceful garden. A spotless place. Faces the sea. And close to shops. Thank you to the whole team who maintain such a living space. We will be back, for sure!

We were 2 families and we stayed at Kathleen's house for 8 days. Kathleen connected us with Demetris who helped us get in the house and also provided excellent recommendations. The house was recently renovated and it was warm, spacy, and clean, exactly as it was in the pictures. The view outside the house was stunning. Kathleen was an excellent host. She was always replying within a couple of minutes, she accepted us with love and finally, she allowed us to use her house for a couple of extra hours! We would definitely recommend the house!
