We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

Our newly renovated tiny house for 2 - 4 people awaits you, nestled under the magnificent linden tree in our garden at the edge of the forest of Ziegenhagen. It is only 5 km from the A7 and yet "at the end of the world" and offers many excursion destinations in Frau-Holle-Land with its castles and palaces. The beautiful half-timbered towns of Witzenhausen and Hann. Münden are only 10 km away. Likewise, our little ones (and big ones) can expect an enchanting old-fashioned/modern original amusement park.

Modernized and cozy 75-square-meter (809-square-foot) apartment in a well-maintained 18th-century half-timbered house. A large, like-new kitchen and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower are available. There is a new sofa bed with an ottoman in the living room. For possibly a 3rd person. The bedroom now has a box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm / 5' 11" x 6' 6¾") and a children's travel cot can also be set up if needed. In addition, there is a terrace with new seating furniture and an awning.

On the first floor there is a large living room, equipped with a dining table, TV, kitchenette with stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker, sitting area and pull-out sofa bed. On the top floor is a bedroom with a box-spring bed, built-in wardrobe, TV and sitting area as well as a bathroom with toilet and shower. Bicycle storage is available.

The direct access to the forest invites you for hiking and relaxing walks. Along the three rivers there are great bike routes. The historic old town (20 min) and shopping facilities (5 min) are also within walking distance. Free parking is available on the street.

The location is an ideal starting point for visiting Kassel with its museums, parks, the Documenta and the fairs, but also to the half-timbered town of Melsungen, Lake Edersee or the animal parks in Knüllwald or Sababurg. The apartment is very quiet and is barrier-free, has bed linens and towels. Pets by arrangement. Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. Both cities can be reached in a 30-minute drive. Bikers are also welcome. There is ample space for horses or motorcycles/bicycles.
