Monthly Rentals in Newtown Common

We stayed over water bank holiday and had a fabulous time, great value for money and great location. Great walks around the property, there are dog friendly pubs and lots of great walks with lots of things to do close by. Will definitely be visiting again thank you for having us again!

We stayed for a weekend at Colin’s and Jane’s hut whilst we explored the local area to potentially relocate. It’s in an absolutely stunning location with picturesque views and walks near the local common. I couldn’t recommend it enough. The hut itself has everything you need, big enough that you don’t feel claustrophobic but very cosy, we were left some bread, eggs, milk and butter which was a nice surprise when we arrived. We stayed with our dog who quickly felt right at home especially when he met Blue (Colin and Jane’s dog) he was a lovely dog who kept ours entertained whilst we picked Colin’s brain about Newbury and the surrounding area. Overall a really great stay and we would definitely stay again! Thank you so much!

Lovely spot in the woods surrounded by birdsong. We even spotted some deer. The annexe had everything you might need and Anne made some helpful suggestions for eating out.

Fantastic little place, cosy and had everything we needed. Even though we were attached to the house it felt very private. We had some friendly neighbours (ducks and chickens) which made it even better. The place was comfy and we were able to cook and the heating was great. Clare was responsive and friendly when we chatted.
