Laigh Letterpin Lodge

CampbellRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay in Darren’s lodge! It is in a super peaceful and private location, but not too far from local amenities by car. Darren came to see us after we’d checked in to make sure everything was alright, which was a nice touch. The welcome pack with a small bottle of Prosecco, milk, etc was much appreciated! The lodge itself was perfect and very spacious, with the hot tub and log burner being the highlights. Plenty of wood and fire starting materials were provided for our stay too. After a rather cloudy day we were amazed to see the sky clear up at night from the hot tub to a beautiful display of stars. We also went to Culzean Castle one day for a wander around which we would recommend, only about a 30 minute drive away. All in all, we would highly recommend Darren’s lodge to anybody!

Kestrel Lodge 2 with Hot Tub, Sleeping 2

SilviaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Great place and beautiful walks around. Log cabin was spotless and really nice to relax in the hot tub after a long walk. staff very friendly and responsive the only downside beeing the bed.... not comfortable and the pillows are really hard. we've asked for a matress topper and the staff was prompt providing it but unfortunately didn't made much difference. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the way the manage the holiday park! 100% recommend visiting Galloway Smokehouse and red deer range

Luxury Glamping Pod&Hot Tub, Lake District (Esk)

BhavinRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I booked this for my partners birthday weekend away and we came with our dog for 2 nights at the end of Mar. Ellie was a great host, she was quick and easy to communicate with and made sure we all felt welcome and even decorated the lodge for my partners bday. We had a wonderful time, the lodge was well equipped and cosy, the hot tub was perfect especially at night and the area was very peaceful with some stunning views so all in all just what we needed. We really enjoyed our time here and my partner loved it for her birthday weekend away - we would be looking to come back in the future. I would highly recommend this lodge for anyone who is looking to book. P.s we decided to tackle Scafell pike which was around 25mins away - do not recommend doing on a wet and windy day as I thought i was going to die

SaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most amazing time at the Herons’s Nest this week- my partner and I cannot wait to come back! The pod itself was immaculate, so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We had fabulous weather so made full use of the hot tub, bbq and fire pit with smores! Our dogs had the best time running around the garden safely as it was fully enclosed as well. Callum and Suzi were friendly, warm and so informative. It was such a wonderful experience and we are already looking to book our next stay!

GlenIsle Holiday Lodge Log Cabin

ChrisRating, 5 stars27 months ago
From the initial booking to leaving Gillian was great! On arrival Gillian was waiting for us to check in and show us around the lodge and how everything worked. The lodge was spotless and felt like a home from home. Gillian had left a welcome pack full of goodies & Prosecco in the fridge! The beds were so comfortable, pillows were amazing and all the linen was of a high quality. If you enjoy walking/biking this is the perfect location as the woods to the rear of the property are beautiful. We will 100% be back at Glenisle Lodge, so much so we have already inquired about a 2nd stay!

Fantastic stay at the sea cubby! A perfect place to recharge and relax, with amazing views, wildlife and lovely accommodation. It was a perfect size for us. Additionally, the cubby has been kitted out with helpful items that you need whilst away - tea, coffee, lovely linen and plenty of great local recommendations which we tried out. Fell view

Caravan was immaculate and had everything you needed. Was really homely and cosy. Nice short walk into town which had lovely dog friendly places to eat and drink. The hill going up to the caravan was very slippy as it had been raining, i had slipped on wet moss going out one morning so just to warn people to be mindful of this. Would definately return as we had a lovely stay.

Top Lodge

ElisabethRating, 5 stars8 months ago
What made this Airbnb special is all the little thoughtful extras like providing tea, coffee and milk, dog treats, insects repellent etc. Made us feel very welcome. You can tell the host cares about her guest's stay. The lodge is spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well equipped even has an airfryer and coffee pod machine! We loved the Highland Coo theme and think it should continue into the bedrooms. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us for our stay but we still managed to have a good time despite all the rain. We got to go on the loch for watersports on our last day. Which the boys loved! We also enjoyed the little golf course in-between the rain forecasts. And took advantage of the pool on site. We also loved the hot tub. The veranda unfortunately we only got to use for a couple hours before the heavens opened again. But better weather this would the perfect place to sit and chill overlooking those stunning views. All in all we would definitely recommend Top lodge.

Thank you Linda for this amazing experience. Staying at your wooden seaside cabin was truly a magical and unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we could feel that this place was made with love. Every detail, from the hand-crafted wooden bed to the cozy little toilet, was clearly made with care and intention. The cabin itself feels like a warm embrace—simple, charming, and full of character. Waking up to the sound of the sea and the scent of wood around us was incredibly peaceful and romantic. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel so instantly connected—not only to nature, but to each other. We’re leaving with full hearts and beautiful memories. Highly recommend this special little haven to anyone looking for a soulful getaway by the sea. Yanna
