Loved it! Came here with my husband and child and we loved it. Cloughey was a great base for exploring this part of NI and we would happily stay again Massive thanks to the hosts who were kind and responsive, we appreciated all of your time and effort to make our stay peaceful and enjoyable - a particular shout out for the delicious buns on arrival, a really sweet touch Lots to do in the area - we only wish we’d stayed a bit longer! Location is super close to the beach and a lovely wee park (with a coffee cart), only 10 mins away from Portaferry by car for the aquarium and ferry, we even managed a short trip to Strangford for dinner one night and it was a delight to return to such a clean and comfortable home Thanks for having us! Hopefully we will see you again in the future :)

We had two rooms at the Banoge House and enjoyed our stay there very much. John was very hospitable and the breakfasts were enjoyable with lots of conversation. Relaxed and comfortable place to stay. There are still renovations going on so I can only assume it will get even better.

Absolutely outstanding So peaceful with beautiful surroundings Watching the sunset in the hottub was our favourite but the kids loved to have access to the beach and play park.

Really great stay, John is a wonderful man with loads of great knowledge about local things. Beautiful garden. Great value for money (& pay extra for breakfast cos they’re lovely)

The grounds were great, the room was huge, we loved it! Very clean room . John served an amazing breakfast. He also gave us a tray with a kettle, coffee and cream for us early risers.

John Was a great host After i made a late booking was made very welcome. Had a great irish breakfast in the morning

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay in Roisin's garden house! It was a lovely break and a home away from home! Thank you Roisin for accommodating our chilled girlie getaway and hopefully our paths will cross again soon!

We had a wonderful stayed at the house. It's a really beautiful place, our room was huge, so was the bathroom. The gardens are well taken care of and the town centre is easy to reach. Tom was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast he prepared for us absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Lovely clean room and bathroom comfortable bed great for the night stay we needed as we were going to a party in the area. The bar adjoining the property is a gorgeous cosy pub. Friendly and efficient.

Was visiting for an event nearby and just needed a bed for myself for the night, up and gone in the morning. Space was perfect for this, clean and well serviced, easy access in & out.

Very happy with our stay, we came over to Northern Ireland to see my wife’s granny, so it was perfect property to have as our base. We personally spend much time there, but was very happy when we did!

Cheap, clean and quiet. Easy to access and everything as advertised. Great kitchen facilities - no one else about so had the place to myself :)

Marie is a lovely host who made us feel very welcome. We had a good quiet nights sleep.

My family and I, including kids and grandkids, stayed at Ruths just after Christmas. We truly enjoyed all the amenities of their place. So much to do for the adults and kids. We particularly enjoyed the bar area with a great area for all of us to gather. We played pool, listened to music and drank Guinness on tap. Thanks, Paul, for sharing your Christmas keg with us. The hot tub was utilized every day. The ample snacks provided were demolished. The coffee supplies were greatly appreciated. The place was perfect. There were nine of us in all and nights were quiet and peaceful. The location was perfect and if I ever return, I will stay more local to Belfast. So much to do there and it was very close. Ruth and Paul are absolutely wonderful hosts; helpful, available, insightful and generous. It's obvious they enjoy hosting. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Lovely placealthough living area is extremely small. The bedrooms are lovely and well decorated. Bathroom is fine and functional. Really enjoyed our stay.

This place tops all for me and Irina . Wow is all I can say . This place is a must see for any1 that appreciates something different .
