Monthly Rentals in Newby Bridge

We had a lovely four night stay in this studio apartment. It was very spacious for a studio well equipped with cooking utensils and soaps. The bed was extremely comfortable! Amy was an excellent host who always made sure we had everything we needed The location is slightly out of the way from the main attractions of the Lake District, but perfect if you’re after a peaceful stay

A wonderful stay in a beautiful home. We found the property fairly straightforward to find, spotting the two distinctive trees from the photos. Owners Gail and Mike were very friendly. They took particular attention in accommodating our young children, with a bag of toys, picnic blanket, feeding lambs. We played in the gardens and Mike took it upon himself to mow the lawns for the kids, even though they seemed fine! Appreciated all the care and attention and sticky toffee pudding! Fireplace being the highlight of our evenings with plenty of firewood. The area was picturesque and nights were starlit. The rooms were set up mindfully, our favourite was the dining room, perfect for crafts. We found the shelf with the abundance of leaflets for exploring Lake District very impressive; resembling a mini tourist office, with Gail also recommending some great spots. Conveniently close to Haverwaithe train St and Cartmel Alpacas Farm. We would love to stay at Granary Cottage again. Thank you.

The LOVEDAY cottage was an ideal getaway for us and our dog. It’s incredibly homely, and the spa-like bath adds a touch of luxury. The cottage had everything we needed, plus some thoughtful touches. The hosts were incredibly generous, leaving us with brownies, a chocolate Easter egg, milk and Prosecco. We had a peaceful and enjoyable Easter weekend here. National Trust Fell Foot Park is just a 5-minute walk away, and there are several easy hikes right on the doorstep, including Gummer’s Howe and Stavely Fell. The hosts highly recommended the delicious Sunday roast at the Mason Arms (a 10-minute drive). It has a lovely terrace with stunning views to enjoy in the sunshine. The cottage was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Our entire stay was flawless. We would highly recommend LOVEDAY cottage and would definitely return.

if you're looking for high quality accommodation, peaceful surroundings and somewhere you can truly relax, this is the place for you. No stone has not been unturned to cater for your every need. There's plenty to do on the doorstep with a beautiful spa just up the road, a local pub called the Anglers Arms that served the most delicious food, a steam train and a boat ride away from lake Windermere and it's not far to alot of different places offering a vast array of different food & drink, walk and cycle options. Lee and Wendy are everything you'd want hosts to be, very informative, helpful, welcoming and full of local recommendations and knowledge.
