Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Newark-on-Trent

We stayed at the property for 6 weeks. It is a delightful house with great amenities, including an exclusive off road parking space. We loved being able to walk into the town to the supermarket and the market square, which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There is also a fabulous fish and chip shop a 2 minute walk away! The hosts are charming and very responsive and we would recommend this property to anyone especially for a longer stay. Thank you Ann, Trish & Mike for all your kindness.

The house is beautiful! High ceilings, large rooms, clean and in a wonderful location. Very private. Andrew helped me with any queries and questions I had to the run up of our stay, and responded very quickly. On our first night there Andrew went out of his way to help us, which he didn’t have to do, and we were most grateful! Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and felt right at home!

If you’re on the fence about booking this place, do it. Absolutely fantastic stay, immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Kate was a fantastic host who also provided some essentials for our stay which was so thoughtful. What a beautiful home and so peaceful. Everything about mill house and the host was fantastic, will definitely be back

Susan is the best host! Lovely and thoughtful welcome amenities provided for our group, bumblebee barn is so homely, we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend

Lovely, comfortable place to stay for the weekend. Very clean and as described. Would highly recommend. Great location for walking into Newark, a lovely town with great pubs, restaurants and quirky shops.

Stayed for a month …..didn’t want to leave Margaret is a fabulous host made me feel very welcome , nothing was too much trouble , explored the area with Margaret’s help found places would not have necessarily checked out. Amazing stay, Joy made us feel so welcome, the breakfast platter was a lovely touch! Very clean, comfy bed and a great sleep. We visited for a wedding in the area. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay over new year, cosy fireplace and friendly pubs within walking distance.

Our friends were getting married, so we needed somewhere to stay for the weekend. We live down south so not 100% on the area, we just needed somewhere that would be comfy and close to the venue. I came across Casita’s studio, saw how beautiful it was, it was a 10 minute drive to the venue…perfect! I was so happy to see it was available for the weekend. It’s a beautiful little studio, super cosy, very clean and has pretty much everything you need! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend! Thank-you for letting us enjoy your space for a couple of days, it was just the perfect place and spot for what we needed ☺️

a lovely place to stay, perfect for 1 person (though would fit two people). the host very kindly messaged prior to mention they supplied milk, butter + bread, noticed I was vegan and provided alternatives! there was tea + coffee provided, plus lots of seasonings and condiments in the cupboards should you need. comfortable bed, clean + tidy space and perfect for a 3 day trip. would definitely recommend :)

The stay was beautiful and perfect. It was clean and cozy. With access to a private garden and a quiet area, it was perfect for quiet evenings. The city centre is close by - 10-16 minute walk. Christina, the host, was friendly and responsive! Would definitely book again!

we have stayed at Willow View twice now and wouldn't hesitate to book again. James and Shani are great hosts, friendly, responsive and there when you need them. the room has everything you could need and it's situated I beautiful, quiet and tranquil surroundings. Burton Joyce is a lovely place with plenty of walks and an easy going vibe.
