Rural cottage with hot tub near Newark on Trent

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay at The Fern with our two dogs. The secure garden with hot tub was very private and the fields on the site were perfect for our dogs to run around. We loved the puzzle box! Having an EV charger on site was a great feature too, that we made good use of. The space downstairs was very generous and well equipped. The bed upstairs was huge and the view from the window across the site was fantastic, especially at sunrise. Nigel was very friendly and responsive, providing lots of local info for things to do. Thank you for a fab stay!

Luxury Country Cottage with Hot Tub

KirstyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our second stay at The Stable House. The cottage is beautiful, well presented, and spotless. We love the peaceful area, and the views are stunning. The hot tub is a brilliant place to relax on an evening. Sandra and Steve are excellent hosts. They sent detailed instructions on how to access the property, provided a beautiful welcome basket on arrival and gave a range of suggestions about the local area. We particularly enjoyed our meal at the Devonshire Arms on our final evening. The cottage is well situated to visit a range of different places in the area or to pop into Nottingham itself. Would definitely stay again.

Rural luxury cottage for2, garden, private hot tub

AdamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a truly wonderful stay at Philip’s Airbnb! The space was immaculate – spotlessly clean, beautifully tidy, and incredibly cosy. It’s the perfect spot for a couple looking for a relaxing and fun break. The cottage is tucked away in a peaceful location near Newark, and just a short 30-minute drive to the lovely city of Lincoln – ideal for a day out exploring. Inside, the decor strikes a perfect balance between charming and modern, making it feel like a real home away from home. Although the weather wasn’t on our side and we didn’t get to use the hot tub, the log burner more than made up for it! It created such a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evenings – perfect for curling up with a glass of wine and unwinding. Philip was a fantastic host – friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a peaceful couples’ retreat in the countryside. Thank you, Philip!

Had the most amazing stay here. Was even better in person, everything was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Dishwasher, washing machine and en-suite bathrooms in the master bedrooms was a real luxurious touch. The hot tub was very modern and perfect for relaxing in after a day out. Jennie was very responsive to every message I sent and gave great recommendations on where to visit. Thank you for a lovely few days away xx

Beautiful Cottage set in Lincolnshire countryside

AdamRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at this property for 4days and enjoyed every minute ! It was in an amazing stay and from the off we felt right at home. The house was spotless and had everything we needed, entering the property it felt warm and welcoming. The kitchen and all rooms were spotless and all beds were comfy with everyone sleeping really well. The hot tub and pool were also clean and we enjoyed both on several occasions. Katie was very helpful on a couple of questions and pointers which felt like we were being looked after. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be booking this property very shortly for the summer!!! Wonderful stay highly recommended.*****

Quiet Lane Retreat: The Bee Cottage Rutland

ChloeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Steve & Hanri have been the perfect hosts. A beautiful house set in a stunning location that's so quiet. The property had everything we needed and we did all our washing before coming home. There lots of little nooks to read a book. 'What Lies beneath' is a good read! On arrival we were left beautiful treats from the bakery, along with a bottle of wine and treats for our minature dachshund. The garden was a delight with a table and chairs for all the family. The yellow seated area near the rose is a real treat to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee on your own. All the recommendations are on a handmade map and we visted quite a few and we're very satisfied. The local pub 'The Sun Inn' offers the most outstanding food and service. The chip shop around the corner also satisfied our taste buds. Both our children enjoyed the recreation ground court where they played football and basket ball. The surrounding houses are just stunning. A 5* location and 5* hosts. We will be returning again.

Wasp Nest Cottage, Peak District

MaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Myself and a friend stayed in wasp nest cottage for a weekend of walking in the peaks. The cottage is a beautiful and stylist home away from home, cosy and very comfortable. Jack left us everything we needed, milk, coffee and even a lovely cake and treat for the dog, which was a lovely touch and very welcomed. Amazing walks in every direction, great for dogs and the peaks national park a short drive away. Communication from Jack was excellent. A very lovely stay indeed.

The cottage is literally next to the river , quiet and peaceful , the gardens are beautiful with lots of outdoor space to sit and relax. The cottage was beautiful inside. Immaculately clean , bright and airy . Laura provided breakfast , snacks , fresh fruit to name just a few things . The bathroom had a powerful shower and a freestanding bath … wonderful . Parking by the side of the cottage in a private courtyard . On the high st we were literally next door to the Italian restaurant, What an amazing place , great value for money. Anna was so helpful and friendly when we arrived. The cottage is lovely and having bread, butter, preserves and grinola for breakfast was an added and welcome bonus. The surroundings are lovely. A short walk takes you to the pub where the evening meals were great, reasonably priced and not ‘ping ping’ (microwaved). Thank you, Anna for allowing us to stay one night. We’ll be back in the Autumn.

Lovely cottage, clean and comfortable, as described. Beautiful quality furniture and pretty garden. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent pub food just around the corner, and easy to get to Lincoln and surroundings. Tracy made it clear that we could contact her at any time. The only thing we felt it good to be aware of particularly if you have members in your party with accessibility issues as we do is that there is no parking attached, so pot luck in finding spaces nearby. We enjoyed our stay and the location was well placed for our needs.

Valentine Cottage Lovely Country House. Nr Lincoln

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely stay in this barn conversion close to Lincoln, with my parents, husband and two children. The cottage was lovely, lots of space, clean and extremely well equipped with everything we could possibly need! The weather was nice and we made use of the pretty, furnished courtyard at the back, which had a lovely outlook over the padock and the horses next door. The cottage is in a very quiet and peaceful location, we drove to the Bottle and Glass pub, (about 10 minutes away) and had a really nice meal, which we would highly recommend. Was a 25 minute drive to into Lincoln and under an hour to the coast. Pam's communication was great and she kept us informed throughout. Would highly recommend for a peaceful stay with a designated driver!

A beautiful property and spotlessly clean. Modern facilities and quality appliances. Felt very much at home, comfortable and safe. Lovely bi-fold windows open to the patio and field beyond. Spacious living and dining areas and plenty of crockery and glasses for everyone for several meals. Appreciated the huge wardrobes and plenty of hangers. Also the washer and drier. All the home was very thoughtfully put together for a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again. In fact, we are staying in another Honington Grange property in two weeks' time since this one was so good.
