Pet-friendly vacation rentals in New Bern

Description and pictures were 100 percent accurate. The beach front location was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Great size and didn’t need to leave besides walks and restaurants.

The location was absolutely amazing, being able to walk to the beach in less than a minute alone gives this place 5 stars. The host was incredible and responded to our questions in a minute or less! The beds were fantastic, the water was nice and hot! The kitchen was incredible! I absolutely loved how the entire bottom was fenced in, our dogs got to run around have freedom! Everything we could possible need was already provided( I had brought a few things for the kitchen to use and turns out I didn’t even have too) the house was very clean, board games were provided also! I would strongly recommend this to any of my friends/family and we will definitely be coming back to stay here. If you’re considering an air bnb right on the beach, look NO FURTHER, this place is it!! Top tier! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Very enjoyable stay. The dock was a great place to watch the sunset. The ability to bring the dog was a deciding factor. Would easily recommend. Host was very thoughtful and supplied everything and then some.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. We would definitely love to come back!

I appreciated the beautiful bed linens and the comfortable mattress. This tiny home was well appointed with items needed (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, towels and paper towels) to make meals. They supplied coffee, salt and pepper and a few other staples. The tiny home has a private grill, fire pit and hot tub, so it's wonderful get away. They provided a blowdryer upon request. Be sure to bring your own body wash or bar soap, shampoo and lotion. Note that the property is not marked, so it's easy to miss from the road... so you'll want to slow way down when the GPS indicates you are close by so you don't miss it. Also the keypad is not illuminated, so you'll want to carry a flashlight or use the flashlight on your phone to punch in the numbers after dark. It's pitch black out there, but it makes for a beautiful backdrop to a million stars. Highly recommend.

Will visit again! The location can’t get any better if you want to be right on the beach when you open the backdoor.

We booked Jennifer’s airbnb to stay near Camp Lejeune to visit our marine on base, and it was perfect. Lots of space, great house if you’re thinking of bringing pets, and the area was peaceful. Definitely worth the price, and we’ll be looking to stay again!!😊

Very spacious home right by the sound. Enjoyed sunrises and sunsets at this perfectly located house. Wonderful space for the family. We had tons of fun and enjoyed spending time in this space. The pool table was loads of fun and the hot tub was wonderful. It was warm enough that that we could enjoy meals outdoors. This house is close to everything so it was east to run to the store for anything we missed.

Jeff and Julie’s home was perfect for our family beach trip! The heated pool was clean and the grounds felt private from nearby homes. Jeff and Julie were friendly, accommodating, and helpful leading up to and during our stay. We would absolutely stay here again :)

My family recently stayed at Joseph’s place and had a wonderful experience! The location was unbeatable—just a short, easy walk to the beach, which made it so convenient for quick trips back and forth. The inside of the rental was spotless and well-maintained, and it had all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From kitchen supplies to cozy furniture, nothing was missing. We also felt incredibly safe throughout my stay, with secure entrances. Overall, it was the perfect place for a relaxing beach getaway, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay by the beach!

Alot of space, large kitchen, beds were comfortable. kids loved the shared pool and private hot tub. Pool was warm even though it was chilly outside and too cold to swim in the ocean, so my kids had a blast swimming and getting in the hot tub every day. Amazing that we got to bring our 2 dogs with us. Only downfall if you have bad knees this place has alot of stairs but if that doesn't bother you then you're good! So close to the beach, walk across the road to the access path and you're there ! Loved how close we were. Will definitely go back when weather is warm enough to swim in the ocean ! they had chairs, cart , boards and stuff to use at the beach but it was very chilly and windy so didn't stay long on the beach to use what they had. Also a Foosball table and darts!

Wonderful host and property!

Our stay was perfect! Even our pups felt like they were on vacation and had a great time!! We very much enjoyed the comfort of the home, a fully stocked kitchen so I could cook some home meals for my son, and chilling out on the back porch under the gazebo while the dogs ran around the back yard. She even left toys and treats for the pups and the home was fully prepared and welcoming for our dogs! We’ve stayed in pet friendly homes before but once arriving weren’t as pet friendly as we would have thought. This one was by far the best!!

Ed’s place was perfect for our quick getaway. His house is just as described. In a nice, quiet neighborhood with views of the sound/intercostal and unique canals. Easy walk (4 min) to the beach and short (5 min) drive to the heart of Surf City and the bridge. Place was clean, comfortable, and had everything you’d need. Ed is very responsive, and a great host. We’d love to return.

The location is walkable to so many shops, restaurants, the pier and the beach. We parked our car and didn’t move it for 5 days. The house was so clean and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, air fryer, coffee maker, etc. The area was very quiet. There was always plenty of room on the beach. Our kids loved being able to walk to the park and such beautiful scenery along the way. We plan to come back!

This was a delightful place to stay as we celebrated our 57th anniversary. Super clean with most comfortable beds and furniture. We spent the weekend trying different restaurants and look forward to coming again.

Beautiful charming old house perfect for our 2 day visit. The beds were so cozy and linens were so incredibly soft. We loved all the extras, hair ties, q-tips, shampoo, plenty of towels. The host thought of everything extra to do for guests. We would stay again as it was a perfect location to walk to everything downtown.
