We were delighted with our stay here! Upon arrival we were greeted with complimentary cakes and pastries with drinks in the refrigerator, a very warm welcome by Dejvid and his family. Stephanie's cozy apartment offers plenty of space and is furnished with a lot of love. The Fröhlich family welcomed us very warmly with a small refreshment and provided us with many good tips for hiking. Hochberg is a small town, ideal for people looking for peace and quiet, and a good starting point to discover the region of the Swabian Alb and the Danube Valley on foot or by bike. We will be happy to come back!

This is one of the most sparkling-clean airbnbs I have ever stayed at! The kitchen was equipped with basic items, but had everything we needed to prepare and eat our meals. The fireplace was wonderful after lots of outdoor activities in the cold! My only concerns are that the master bedroom bed is extremely uncomfortable (my husband agrees) and makes a lot of noise every single time you move…and if you are staying in the master bedroom, you must walk through the second bedroom to get anywhere else in the unit. This was fine for us and our two young kids, but if you are traveling with another couple or teenagers who enjoy their privacy, this would be an inconvenience. Overall, this unit is spacious and centrally located to many fantastic sights! We used this unit as our base for visiting Schloss Lichtenstein, Schloss Sigmaringen, and Schloss Hohenzollern. For what we paid, I consider this unit an amazing value!

We spent a week hiking in Albstadt. The eaves are all super easy to reach from the apartment by car. The apartment has a beautiful view of the valley with daily sightings of milans, hawks and other birds. The apartment is super clean and equipped with all the important (and sometimes really high-quality appliances). Susanne and her husband were always friendly and very helpful. We felt right at home and will definitely be back. ☀️
