Very nice stay in an impeccable and very functional accommodation with small children. Well-equipped and well thought out, there is everything you need: not too much, not too little, it was perfect! The proximity to Amboise is very appreciable. Good communication with Céline and good responsiveness in messages. The information is very clear and complete. We enjoyed the bedding, then I did the cleaning that should be included. Thank you so much.

A short weekend to recharge your batteries in the countryside! Everything was great: the cleanliness of the place, the interior layout, the clear and detailed explanations, the responsive communication… thank you for everything; special mention for the delicious homemade apple juice kindly offered on our arrival!

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

We were all delighted to stay for a great weekend with friends in this charming house with a very nice garden and close to the Châteaux of the Loire Valley. Bérengère is very welcoming and advised us on beautiful places. A great meeting! We would happily stay again.

This beautiful cottage is out in the middle of the country with birdsong during the day and quiet nights. It’s still in between many major destinations in the Loire Valley. Central location with lots of good grocery stores and we made lots of our meals at the cottage. For those wanting to eat out there are lots of great restaurants within 30 minutes. The cottage was even cuter in person. The bed was firm but cozy. Bathroom was large with a great shower. You have a private patio overlooking beautiful fields, which we enjoyed in the afternoons and for watching sunsets. The pool is a shared space. When you are using it, you won’t see the hosts or feel intruded upon. They make use of it in the mornings and later in evening when you’re not using it. Karen is available for suggestions or to help you with your itinerary and she is a very nice person. You’ll enjoy this beautiful retreat!

Patrice and Christel are lovely hosts. Patrice showed us his old restored wood-burning oven, shared his passion for plants and his beginnings as a beekeeper. We were also able to taste the cherries. The house is as described. We were able to enjoy the private area of the garden overlooking the countryside. Perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet after visiting the Loire castles all day. We recommend it without hesitation.

This place, is great. Although it’s small, it is very functional and has more than adequate bathroom space. It’s lovely and so clean! It was a great stay. The free parking lot across the street usually has places free (especially in the evenings and mornings), but once, returning early from a day of driving to chateaus, I found the lot full so had to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up. It wasn’t long. People staying in other towns come to see the castle and Leonardo Da Vinci’s house, so it may be more crowded around mid-day. Also, the roll out bed was a bit firm for my taste, but I still slept well and it’s nice to have the floor space during the day (easy to pull out/put away). The 2 windows face the river, have shades, and open to a lovely breeze - I didn’t need the AC at all and preferred the fresh air. The stairs are quite steep and curve around, but I didn’t have any issues getting luggage up - just don’t be too ambitious taking everything at once, they’re narrow.

Jessica is experienced, the instructions are clear, the accommodation is very clean and close to the TGV train station. The accommodation is well arranged and all the necessities are available.

Ideal accommodation for 2 to discover Amboise with a beautiful view of the Loire and the castle and close to shops and restaurants

The place is beautiful and very well maintained, ideal for children. There are 3 cottages in the same place. We had the one upstairs, very cute, 1 bedroom under the roofs and the living room also so 2 rather warm rooms. The host was very nice, we were able to arrive at 4 p.m. instead of 6 p.m.

Very clean, spacious and bright accommodation. Located in an outbuilding independent of the owner's house. A large courtyard allows you to park the car and bikes. Very quiet neighborhood. Very good communication. We recommend.

We loved the location. It was walkable to everything in Amboise yet in a quiet location. We also liked having room for our family of 4 to spread out. It was also a great value for the money. But the best thing was Coralie! She was so helpful beyond our expectations, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast items waiting for us when we checked in. We would love to stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

La Quintessence was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Amboise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need to use. Sophie is a great host, with a long list of great recommendations which made the weekend easy and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!

Romain and Evelyne's apartment is really more than perfect for visiting Blois and its surroundings. The photos don't do justice to the quality of what's offered. Nothing is missing, even coffee and other utilities in abundance. Impeccable cleanliness, modern, very comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood, you feel at home. Very good location, you can get to the Château de Blois and several sites of interest on foot in a few minutes. Secured parking is a big advantage. The nearby Intermarché is also a plus. Unfortunately, because of the temperature we were unable to enjoy the small terrace, but it is available. Recommended without a second thought because lucky those who can stay in this apartment.
