Would definitely recommend a visit! It is a beautiful place to stay, with lots of character and charm! Rooms are surprisingly large with lots of natural light and beds were well rated among our group. Swedish hot tub was a firm favourite. Joe and Hannah were responsive, super friendly and provided a stellar pub recommendation just 10mins away. Perfect for family or friends getaway.

Just returned from a magical two-night stay at Linda's stunning seaside cottage in Wales — an absolute gem! Nestled right on the beach with direct front-door access to the coastal path, it was the perfect blend of nature and comfort. The highlight? Relaxing in the lush, private garden, serenaded by blackbirds and the gentle rhythm of the ocean. The peaceful atmosphere, the beauty of the Welsh language echoing all around, and the sheer tranquility made it unforgettable. Highly recommend this special place — we’ll definitely be returning!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Trish’s beautiful cottage nestled among the hills. The house itself was stunning, featuring charming wooden interiors and thoughtful design throughout. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Trish and Ian were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. They gave us great recommendations for scenic walks with breathtaking mountain views. They even took the time to show us their other nearby properties, which were equally impressive - especially the one with the huge, cozy fireplace and beautiful architecture. One of the highlights of our trip was spending time with the lovely farm animals especially Jerry the pony, who absolutely stole our hearts! We also met some friendly chickens and George, their lovable dog. For those who prefer not to interact with animals, there’s no pressure but our group of four loved the experience and were grateful to be allowed to meet them. Highly recommend this beautiful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the barn. Lots of room for us, a family of six adults. Comfy beds, great shower with lots of hot water for us all to shower after being on the river all day. Kitchen was very well equipped too. Would definitely come back.

Black Sheep Barn is just as described in the listing. It is far from any towns and most villages, but this gives it the seclusion and privacy that you sometimes want from a countryside break. The barn was amazing. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The little touches such as the cake on arrival and fresh eggs from the farm were lovely. It had everything you would want from an accomodation and we really enjoyed our time there. It was very relaxing, and the views are astounding. There are plenty of walks straight from the barn, also with great views. The major towns are within driving distance, so easy to get anything you need. We would recommend this accomodation and may well return in the future.

We were so lucky to stay in this beautiful cottage for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — Ellie was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, leaving us lovely cakes to enjoy on arrival. The cottage (and its surroundings) is full of charm and just as whimsical as the pictures suggest. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time together. We also enjoyed the easy drives into Ludlow, Leominster, Tenbury Wells and local walks. We can’t thank Ellie enough for creating such a beautiful, memorable experience — we’ll definitely be back one day!

nice little place, we only stayed one night whilst travelling home from south Wales, very friendly host, I asked of we could check in early and she said we could check in whenever we wanted as it was ready to go.

Wow - this was by far the best “hot tub” break we have been on and we have been on a few. The dome is so unique. You have the luxury of a full kitchen and bathroom, electricity and WIFI coupled with the secluded rustic countryside setting. There is so much open space around the dome with no one else around. The pond is amazing and we went paddle boarding/canoeing everyday using the equipment kindly provided. There is a wood burner in side the dome and a fire pit outside with plenty of wood supplied free of charge. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough!

Our third stay at the Shippon and our two autistic boys treat it like a home from home. So relaxing I didn’t want to leave. Our youngest loves water and animals so swimming, hot tub, fussing the lovely dogs, feeding Monty the horse carrots, all while being followed around by the chickens. He was in heaven! A great base for visiting family and lots to do nearby if we want to. This time we went to hoo farm, but we were generally all happy to stay at the Shippon. The Shippon is spotless and to cosy and comfortable. Our dogs love sitting on the patio watching the world go by and Newport dog park is literally a 5-10 minute walk and they love it. Thanks so much Sara and Phil, you are always so helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

The snug little pods are a perfect place to stay, overlooking open dales with sheep and cows, ducks swimming on pond right outside. Michiala could not have been more welcoming and helpful. we had all the peace and quiet we needed but she was always ready to assist as soon as we needed anything. Her cats and dogs were as friendly as Michaela herself. our neighbours in the other pod were super friendly too ..but with two bathrooms and a perfectly equipped little kitchen between us it never felt crowded. we loved being able to bring our own bedding because we don't like thick duvets, this meant we slept really well and felt absolutely at home.

Me and my partner went with the dog, we had one of the best times in this spot, really relaxing to be at the pod and then travelling around the villages was lots of fun. Was always nice to come back to the lovely pod! The kitchen had everything you needed as well

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Fabulous location for anyone looking to stay in the peaceful countryside while still able to access a beautiful town. Lovely accommodation which is really spacious.

Brilliant stay. Lodge was spotless on arrival, hosts were flexible with arrival times and we had a lovey stay. Lodge is a great size for a family of four (even with teenagers). Hot tub was lovely and well maintained and table tennis table was brilliant!

Had a lovely peaceful couple of nights away. The surrounding area is so beautiful with views of the sheep in the mornings, and great for walks. We loved the hot tub and bath outside and how private everything was. The kitchen was also well equipped and had everything you’d need for a few nights away

Our stay here was great, the host was very hospitable and kind and the accommodation was very cosy and enjoyable! Dog friendly and we couldn’t recommend this place enough, already looking forward to coming back in the future! :)

I booked this stay for my parents as a Christmas present after they had a difficult year in 2024. They said they absolutely loved the space and it was exactly what they needed. A peaceful retreat with gorgeous views and stunning walks just on the doorstep. They said they will be booking again and look forward to spending some more time at this wonderful place. Calm Acre Cabin is simply stunning and incredibly peaceful. It looks exactly like the photos, with a huge open space to explore and relax in and a spotless cosy cabin. We had a very relaxing few days, reading by the fire, barbecuing and walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Chloe was the perfect host. She made sure we had clear instructions well in advance, was communicative, and made sure we had everything we needed. Chloe has thought of everything, with the cabin supplying all that you need for a comfortable stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A lovely cabin in a lovely location. Directions given beforehand were spot on. We had no trouble whatsoever. The cabin and amenities were perfect & we felt right at home with the little welcome pack. The hot tub & sauna were enjoyed by all - a really nice touch 👍🏻 We didn’t have the best of weather but walks through the woodland and down to the river were enjoyable - the kids had fun trying to skim stones. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Mariella but it was great to meet Nigel & Rufus, both were very friendly. The later checkout time of 11am was brilliant, especially when you’ve got 4 kids to sort! We had an amazing stay at Dandelion Hill! The hosts were fantastic and extremely accommodating and helpful. It’s a beautiful site, very peaceful and secluded. Lots of nature and wildlife to view and listen for when you’re enjoying a cup of tea on the deckchairs in the morning (we were lucky to see a red kite land on a nearby tree and hear it’s calls!) We would absolutely revisit. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Simon’s beautiful cottage. The bed was really comfy and there was no external noise (apart from the sheep!). It was such a peaceful few days and perfect for us with our 7 month old daughter and dog. The cottage is set on the hillside with stunning panoramic views. The garden is fenced all the way round and there’s a perfectly placed bench to watch the sunset. The interior was kitted out to a high standard and had all the basics you would need. Simon was very friendly and offered some great local recommendations. We will definitely be back one day to visit again - thank you!
