A lovely stay with the most amazing views.

We loved being so close to the sea. We very much enjoyed sitting by the living room window - the view over the bay was stunning and, on one evening, we were even treated to a glorious sunset. Our visit in February meant the beach was quiet and we walked for miles along the sand and through the forest. The flat itself is cosy, compact and comfortable and contained everything we needed. Our host was really helpful too, and we were super grateful for the welcome basket of groceries. We'd gladly stay here again.

A great stay. Perfect for my family and friends. Super layout, spacious and well equipped, had everything we needed, super simple check in and check out. Quiet, peaceful but close to everything. Super walks to beach and great views over the golf course out to sea. Highly recommend and hope to come back soon.

Would highly recommend!!! Beautiful little apartment, very central and well equipped. The hosts left a travel cot for us and offered a high chair too. The apartment had everything we needed and I think it was bigger than it appeared in the photos... Would comfortably host 4 adults as both rooms are spacious with good storage space. Some puzzles, books and board games (including some children's games) were there, as well as a Smart TV. We loved our stay in Stonehaven and would eagerly return to this apartment!

The venue, top flat had a 270 degree view of Montrose. Views of the beach. Lighthouse offshore wind turbines. The academy gold dome. The steeple and harbour oil support ships. Plus a rainbow after a light shower. The tallest view of Montrose I have ever witnessed. Do clean. Warm. Beds a dream. A great place to stay. The neighbours were also helpful.

Super cozy cottage by the sea in traditional fishing village. The cottage is very well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. Nice restaurant nearby. Diane was very helpful and considerate. I would come back again!

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

Our third visit and it won’t be our last. We love the location and the cottage is so cosy. It’s quickly become our favourite getaway and this was a January holiday rather than a summer one and it’s just as magical!

Great stay at this fantastic house. Party of nine with dog. Three generations all enjoyed the space and the beautiful surroundings. Perfect that each room has an en-suite. Plenty of room for cooking in kitchen and two fridges. Selection of spaces to socialise or have time to yourself. Everyone found the house very relaxing and great to be able to bring dog.

When booking a family reunion I wanted something very special and memorable. This holiday home is set within the most beautiful bay, 2 minutes walk from the beach at Clachtoll. Our Easter week was glorious with sunshine every day. We walked, enjoyed picnics, ate lovely meals out at Delilah’s and the Lochinver Pie shop. A wildlife boat trip out of Lochinver with Skipper Tony is great fun for young and old alike. For any ornithologists a trip to Handa will be joyous…..we were lucky to see puffin!! The layout of the holiday home is excellent with lots of space and importantly there are two bedrooms on the ground floor ideal for elderly or anyone with mobility issues. This was the perfect family holiday location, the house had everything and more than we needed. You could walk to the beach from the house in 2 minutes. The beach was perfect for leisurely toddler strolls and evening runs. We cannot wait to plan our next trip, this home is an absolute gem of a find and we hope to return soon. Lovely family break with 14 of us and a happy dog coming and going throughout the week. Great accommodation for wee ones and adults alike. The games room went down a treat As did the hot tub with the more adventurous family members and the two sitting areas and dinning room and kitchen were great to meet everyone’s needs. The house was clean well catered for and great grounds. Would highly recommend and one for us for the future again.

We loved our time at Cliff Cottage. Nestled on top of the cliffs overlooking St Cyrus beach, the location is stunning. The house was the perfect home away from home and Alison was an exceptional host, even going out of her way to let us know of local events that were happening during our stay. highly recommended and can't wait to visit again.

we had a great stay in this apartment. it was perfect for the harbour, the beach and all local amenities. the flat itself is lovely, with everything you need for a short stay. my 3 year old was delighted with the toy chest! the beds were super comfy. we had a great time!

This apartment was outstanding and Hazel has given much attention to detail and nothing has been forgotten. We had everything we needed and more. The place was spotless and had beautiful furnishings and we all got that cosy, relaxed vibe the minute we arrived. Lovely views over the river, and you can catch a glimpse of the sea over the rooftops. A few little extras were provided for my son's 30th birthday which made it even more special. We all had a great time here and can definitely recommend, it will not disappoint. Thankyou.

Aurelie and David are truly wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — no surprises, just exactly what we were hoping for. It was perfectly prepared for us in advance in the configuration we needed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly require. The Nespresso machine was an especially appreciated touch — mornings just aren’t the same without a good coffee to start the day! We also noticed (and appreciated) the whiskey set out on the console — a lovely gesture, even though we only had a small taste. Thank you so much, Aurelie and David, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place hosted by truly thoughtful people.

Has all you need for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

Lisa kept in touch throughout our stay and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We only stayed a couple of nights but it would be an ideal location for a longer stay too. The massive kitchen and dining area was the soul of our stay. We sat there and chatted around the massive table. The bedrooms were immaculate and the multitude of WCs meant no one was left dancing in the hall waiting for one to be free. The location is ideal too. It doesn’t get any more central. We really needed somewhere to base ourselves for our stay, somewhere we could retreat to and not feel like we were falling over each other and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a gem.

We had a great stay here! The place was comfortable and well-located, with easy access to local shops and restaurants, which made everything really convenient. Stephen was a great host—very responsive and even offered us an extra hour for late check-out, which we appreciated (though we didn’t end up needing it). Just a heads up for future guests: off-street parking isn’t permitted at the property, but there’s a nearby solution—Library car park is just around the corner and worked out fine for us. All in all, a pleasant and easy stay.

Fabulous long weekend @ Jude’s felt like a real home from home, had everything we needed and more! Beautiful decor which made you feel extra relaxed. Comfortable beds, nice and cosy. One of my parents has a visual impairment so the discreet grab rails and walk in shower in bathroom combined with grab rail in patio area where so helpful. Thanks for everything.

Fabulous apartment. Beautifully fitted out.Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Bed was so comfortable. Quiet residential area, no problem with parking right outside property. Close to beach and some really quaint towns and villages along the coast. Great communication from host. Can't recommend this property highly enough. Thank you Paul it made our stay really enjoyable.
