Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Muri bei Bern

Our family of four had a pleasant stay at Yukiyo's residence. The location was advantageous and well-suited for commuting to various destinations. While we encountered a minor inconvenience with a malfunctioning washing machine, Yukiyo made commendable efforts to address the issue. The house was exceptionally clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. However, we encountered a challenge with the provision of garbage bags, as Switzerland utilizes taxed garbage bags and the house only provided one large bag for our five-night stay. This posed a slight inconvenience, as additional bags needed to be purchased in bulk from supermarkets. Overall, our experience was satisfactory.

For our family, the short break was very relaxing. The house is very well furnished. You don't have to bring toys from home. And the surroundings are also child-friendly. There's a lot to discover. We really enjoyed it.

It was our first family trip to Switzerland and Sabrina’s place was in the perfect spot to see so many different sights. We had a very busy week and everything was within an easy drive. It is located in a quiet residential area with amazing views towards Jungfrau. The house itself is well laid out and has plenty of space. We found it very comfortable. It was a nice surprise to find all the main UK channels were available on the TV to watch in the evening. We have a lot more to see in Switzerland so we will definitely return to Sabrina’s place.

André and Sabine are very welcoming and responsive hosts. They are available and very friendly. The place is impeccable and great to meet when you are in large numbers. The beds were spotless and very comfortable. The lack of TV was not a problem as there are many games for any age and board games. We are delighted with our weekend. Thanks again!

Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

We liked the place VERY MUCH. Totally stylish and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. For our children, there were also many ways to linger through the cool rooms, furniture, the swing on the upper floor, the playroom in the attic and the great toys we found in a closet. Only the steep staircase to the upper floor is not so suitable for very small children, as they need companions (open and without railings). The beds were super fresh and very comfortable. The kitchen was tiptop equipped. We felt immediately comfortable, the children were also very enthusiastic. The house is lovingly decorated. Really great. The contact with the hostess was super nice and quick. She always responded within a short time. We came by public transport, so you just have to factor in some time because the nearest bus stop is about 25 minutes away. But that worked. Nice and quiet area, with possibility to go into the forest.

Simone was very helpful through messages, she always responded quickly and kindly. She was able to answer my questions accurately. But I didn't get a chance to meet you. Apartment as described, a little expensive for one person, but on average with prices in the area.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment in Saanen. The apartment is very well appointed, has a well-stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and located in quiet surroundings. The terrace is a lovely sunny spot, with a nice view of the mountains. We never slept so well! The village of Saanen is beautiful and peaceful, and is located in a very scenic location, close to amenities in Gstaad. The location is excellent with the train station just a three minute walk away and the local bus stop a one minute walk. Great area for walking, hiking and exploring the surrounding mountains and towns on foot or by train. The hosts are very responsive and quickly replied to all our queries. As it was raining heavily on our arrival, we were promptly met by Didi at the train station, who gave us a very warm welcome and drove us to the nearby apartment. Highly recommended!

Super apartment with everything you need including a boot/ski room, great location with stunning view from the balcony towards Stechelberg. Bus stop a minute’s walk away-ticks all the boxes! Heather was very helpful, great comms and accommodating- highly recommend!

Cozy accommodation and very well equipped. We appreciated its comfort. Alina is a very responsive, available and caring host. Maybe we'll come back to that someday.

Janine’s place was very conveniently located as less than 5 mins walk from Interlaken West train station. Also has two big stores like Migros and Aldi within walking distance. It was a very peaceful and private place. The view from the balcony was the best feature of the house.

Kathleen was very welcoming and very kind. I got there when the weather got rough with the snow and she made sure I had the proper clothing and gave me recommendations. Easy to communicate with for any questions needed. Instructions were very clear and easy to find.

The accommodation was very nice. The comfortable sofa, the bathroom clean and with a good shower, the comfortable litter. Great to spend a few days!

We felt welcome as a family and very comfortable in the beautiful apartment and would be happy to come back!

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how good the coffee tasted and this without capsules. We'd love to be back in Patrizia's apartment.
