Restored 200 Year Old Church

Bookeen Hall is a 200 year old restored church about 20 mins from Galway City and within easy reach of the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Connemara. We are a short drive from Lignum (restaurant). We offer a private room (with 1 king size bed and 1 single bed) with a private bathroom. For larger groups there is a second room (with 1 king size bed), so we can accommodate up to 5. The nearest train station is 8 miles away in Athenry. We live here with our dogs and look forward to meeting you!

Mary, the host, has been hosting guests in her home for over 20 years but has only recently joined AirBNB and is keen to welcome back guests. Private, ensuite room available, cereals, yoghurts and toast available on request in guest lounge.

We also offer a laundry service. Breakfast is available from 8-10am from Easter until October and must be pre booked.

Own car ESSENTIAL (not suitable for cyclists/pedestrians as no public transport nearby. It takes nearly 2 hrs to walk from Doolin or Lahinch) Minimum 2 nights stay. Apologies, no children or dogs. One of 3 rented rooms in our home. Single bunk beds in private room. Shared kitchen, Sitting room and bathroom. 10 minutes drive to Doolin, Lahinch, the Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher.
