The Orchard - Refurbed Studio w views of Clew Bay

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at the Orchard, the host was very responsive and helpful. Location was great, walking distance to Westport quay and the town centre. Local taxi numbers were also provided. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The location is absolutely stunning, we both took part in the half marathon, the morning of the race we walked to the start line which made our lives so much easier. It saved so much time trying to get parked and the town was very very busy.

Druids Rest,City Centre Aptartment

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The apartment was all that we hoped for. It is located blocks from the heart of old Galway, is a comfortable apartment, and has a well stocked kitchen (we like to cook). Joan was proactively communicative and there were even some treats in the refrigerator when we arrived. We are touring around Europe; working during the day and tourist-ing on weekends and this apartment worked perfectly. It was a wonderful, four block walk to our shared work space (Market Street PorterHouse). The walk brought us right through old Galway, the folks at PorterHouse were so helpful when we needed anything, and we were able to take beautiful walks through the streets or along the canal when we needed a mid-day break. We were also just blocks from the train station when it was time for weekend excursions.

Picturesque Galway Bay Property

JamieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Location location location! This was an incredible little gem right in the hub of activity! The Long Walk was at our front door, literally. We had no idea that where we stayed was a picture point for artists (photos and paintings). We felt like we were living in the artwork! Annamarie was so pleasant and chatty and made us feel so very welcome. She really understood our gluten-free needs! (Thank you Annamarie!) She was very detailed in instructions upon arrival and then respected privacy while we were there. The unit was clean/tidy. Typical “wear” for an older place but totally acceptable. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, yet you are within very close walking distance to all the restaurants, pubs, and shoppes…literally a 5 minute walk to the action. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Annamarie. Jamie, Jen, and Katie

Rose Meadow Lodge. Minutes to the Cliffs of Moher.

BillRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Jackie is a great host, very thoughtful and responsive. Great suggestions for things to do. Rose Meadow cottage feels completely modern without losing it's old farm building roots. Spotless is an understatement, it was one of the cleanest places I have stayed at! Jackie really thought through how to take full advantage of the building, you have everything you need but there is no clutter. The location is great too, you can see the Atlantic over the hills dotted with cows and horses. If you want dinner out you're close to all the goings on in Lahinch. If you want some great traditional Irish music Doolin is a short drive too! You're right down the road from great hiking with the Cliffs of Moher and the coastal road to Fanore and the Burren. If you want to explore County Clare this is a great place to stay.

Kitchen was perfect for making breakfast and drive way for rental car was nice as well. Rooms were spacious and allowed us to spread out. Pat gave excellent tips and recommendations for Galway and the surrounding cities as well, all were great. Will look to stay here again next time we find ourselves in Galway! Thank you again Pat!

Self-Contained Apartment in Scenic Rural Setting.

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A wonderful stay with everything we needed! we loved having access to a kitchen to cook and a living space to relax and watch the tv in after a long day exploring the area. The whole apartment was comfortable and clean and in a great spot to jump in the car and visit many places nearby. We were greeted with a friendly hello when we arrived and some great tips but for the rest of the time we had our own space. Great communication and a great stay. Thanks!

Stylish, Bright, Spacious City Centre Apartment.

PaulRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A true gem! There are two kinds of Airbnbs: those that feel like they’re churned out on an assembly line — bare-bones and minimal effort — and those where you can tell the host genuinely cares. Ernie’s place is 100% the latter. From the moment we walked in, it was clear a lot of thought and love had gone into this space. Every room is well-appointed, with everything you could possibly need (and plenty of unexpected delights). We stayed with our 16-month-old daughter and were so impressed by the kid-friendly touches: a pack ’n play, high chair, and even a full set of children’s dishware and utensils. More highlights: – Great location – Doors between rooms for added privacy (great if someone wants to sleep in) – Spacious enough to comfortably sleep 3–4 people – Access to multiple streaming services: Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video – A lovely welcome gift of fresh bread, milk, and jams when we arrived – And don’t miss the grocery downstairs—it’s stocked with high-quality organic

Victorian Apartment in The Crescent Close to Town and Sea

KelseyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay here! Cozy place that made for a great 3 day stay in Galway, which was the midway point in our road trip around Ireland. Everything you need is walking distance but the apartment was very private and quiet. Having the laundry machines was an added bonus for us as we packed light. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Rory even came out to meet us on the sidewalk as we had a little trouble finding it (our fault, not their lack of instructions lol). On our last night our son got sick (too many oysters) and although we cleaned everything we could, we still managed to ruin a linen or two. They were incredibly kind and understanding. The only minor annoyance is the parking, but we pretty much ditched the car on a free side street and didn’t drive it until we left. Highly recommend getting over to Crane’s Bar on a Thursday night for the storytelling and live trad music. We brought our 10yo and it was really special to experience.
