A great place, something different. Nothing is missing and the house, surroundings and nature are breathtaking. If you want to escape the city noise, this is the place to be. Hosts and local caregivers are very accommodating and helpful. We will be happy to come back..... :-)

Place as advertised and host always easy to get hold off, helpful and friendly.😉 Restaurant are all driving distance and there is a bit of street noise when opening windows at night. Sloping wall in kitchen make it at bit difficult doing dishes. That said, I can only recommen and give my best recommendations 👍

Thank you for such a great place to stay. 🙏🏻 We felt very comfortable and at home. The amenities were more than ordinary and everything was available, clean and nicely prepared. For children, there were a lot of toys available and for adults games and books. The sheep could be seen out the window and the rooster also greeted you in the morning. So if you're looking for a break in the countryside, this is the place for you.

I am writing this review for my mother and her husband for whom I booked this apartment. I have been staying at Mandee's castle since the end of June with great pleasure and that was the reason why my mother and partner decided to rent an apartment in the former brewery for a week. We had a fantastic week with the three of us where we were able to explore the wide area and we all came to the conclusion that Saxony has much more to offer than we had previously thought. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped with all facilities, has comfortable beds, plenty of space to sit outside... and as the biggest plus for my mother, the possibility to take their dog Silke with them. I myself will be staying at Mandee until the end of August, and why my stay was extended from initially one month to two months actually says enough. A beautiful place, recommended for anyone who is looking for peace and nature but still wants to have many interesting (worldclass) sights in the near area.
