Rooftop with Breathtaking Views. Short Walk to The Duomo.

Climb the white marble staircase to the breathtaking rooftop terrace, boasting unforgettable views of the hills surrounding Florence and the historic center. This apartment has been newly renovated, mixing different kinds of architecture and design. In the flat there is plenty of space for your smart-workstation: internet is fast and reliable, accessible from every corner. We take particular care in sanitizing all the critical areas, in particular the space is sanitized by means of ozone generators. The apartment is newly restyled with a very special taste, mixing different styles in the architecture and design. It is a 2 floors apartment at the last floor of a mid 20th century building right outside the historical city center: at the first floor there are the bedrooms (a Suite and a second bedroom) the bathroom and a wardrobe room. The Suite is introduced by an elegant living area with a separè industry in glass and iron dividing it from the double bedroom with balcony and fireplace. The second bedroom has a big wardrobe with mirrors, a fine couch and twin beds to be disposed at one's will. Through an elegant white marble staircase we have access to the brand new rooftop kitchen and the wide terrace with a view on the hills sorrounding Florence and spots of the old buildings of the historic center. The apartment is entirely reserved to our guests, access to it is by the staircase or by elevator with private access to the floor. The rooftop terrace is only for our guests with sole access from inside the apartment by a staircase. At the same floor in a separate flat live the owners, always ready to help! The owner lives next door and is always available if needed. Chez Geraldine is an apartment just outside the historical center. It’s predominantly a residential district, but the cathedral, Galleria dell'Accademia, and Piazza San Marco are a 15-minute walk away. Food stores, restaurants, and bars are close by. AVAILABLE 4 BIKES (adult size) for our guests, included in the price. Please, use it with care and lock it well each and any time you leave them without custody, thank you. IN CASE OF THEFT OR SEVERE DAMAGE DUE TO NEGLIGENCE YOU WILL BE REQUESTED TO PAY THE VALUE OF THE BIKE OF 160€. Thank you WALKING: the city center is at only 15 mins walking. BY BUS: a few steps away from the building there are buses to the city center and the station.

Once entered the apartment, you will be greeted warmly by the homely atmosphere at once. High white wash exposed beams and plenty of windows provide an abundance of natural light. Tastefully decorated with enchanting artwork and charismatic furnishings, this apartment will surely give you an authentic experience one could never obtain in a standard hotel. Next to the fully equipped kitchen, there is an original open fireplace and a magnificent tribal throne at your disposal. The space opens up to a cute living room/dining area for you to wind down in after a long day of sightseeing. The large double bed and the glorious headboard are also ideal for stretching out after walking around this ancient city. The bathroom is incredibly charming with new fittings and fixtures and fun striped tiles. My guests will have all the apartment for them I’m always ready to answer to all the questions that my guests have! This apartment is set in the Renaissance surroundings of Piazza Santa Croce, in the historic heart of Florence. It's also the location for 'Calcio Fiorentino', a traditional 16th-century football game. Walk from here to numerous sights and museums. From the airport the best way for reach the apartment is by taxi. (25minutes) From the station you can come by walk (25/30 minutes) or taxi (5/7 minutes) If come by car, the nearest garage is Garage dei Tintori, 3 minutes walking from the apartment.

The house in Castelvecchio

The apartment is located in a large house covered with American vine in the center of the town of Borgo San Lorenzo. The house consists of a double bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower. On the outside there is a courtyard of gray stones and an organic vegetable garden full of vegetables grown with love and ancient flowers from other times. The accommodation is for two people, single or as a couple, but there is also the possibility to add a cot if there is a child present. The Mugello valley has small treasures of rare beauty: the medieval village of Scarperia, the Romanesque churches of Borgo S. Lorenzo, Sant'Agata and the small town of San Giovanni, the house of the painter Giotto a Vicchio. The green walks in the woods in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the succulent tortello mugellano filled with potatoes, Lake Bilancino near Barberino del Mugello. History, nature and, if you are passionate about motorcycles, there is also the Mugello international racetrack. There are trains and buses to and from Florence From 1 May 2019, upon arrival, the payment of the tourist tax due to the Municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo will be required, in cash, equal to €1.50 per day per person, up to a maximum of 6 consecutive days. From the first day of May the hosts have to pay a tourist tax (for the municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo) when they arrive (with cash money). The tourist tax is 1,50 euro per day each person until the sixth day (from the seventh day is for free).
