Monthly Rentals in Mountrath

This is a gem of a house in such a picturesque part of the country. The house is immaculate, spacious and beautifully furnished. Aidan and Elena are excellent hosts from responding to queries to a seamless friendly welcome on arrival. We were a group of 6 friends catching up and this was the most perfect place for it. We were not up for a big walk but had to take in some of the spectacular scenery and Aidan provided us with a perfect short route. Elena kindly provided me with a list of food options earlier in the week which catered for all needs including coeliac and vegetarians and that delivered to the door . I would highly recommend this house.

Our stay at Danny's place was fab! The house was lovely, has the old charm rustic vibes just what I love, it was warm and inviting, it had every conceivable item and more! And spotlessly clean. It was a home away from home. The area is so quiet and peaceful but yet only 10km from mountrath village where you can find what you need and within 20 mins there's the busy town of portlaoise. Kathy is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, she was so accommodating I can't thank her enough for everything she did to make our stay so comfortable.. We are organizing our next stay!

We had a lovely week at the Forge, a really cosy and comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings - Scamp and I enjoyed doing the perimeter walk mornings and evenings, watching the bluebells starting to bloom, and sometimes accompanied by the lovely Fauna! It was an ideal location for exploring the looped walks in the Slieve Bloom mountains, and I hope to come back to do some more of them in the future.

Amazing weekend in Millbank. The house itself was big and well laid out for nice dinners and socialising with a group of friends. The pool area was something else. Really was outstanding. We spent a lot of our time there and it was easy to set up and keep the area warm. The hosts Kate and Pauric were very responsive and helpful if any issues arose. The grounds were lovely to stroll around after breakfast. Excellent stay.
