The Cabin is close to downtown and provides easy access to restaurants, entertainment and businesses. However, it sits on a peaceful 1.8 acres with room for boats and trailers. Our studio style guest suite is very private including its own entrance, bathroom, queen sized bed, and kitchenette including a full size refrigerator, microwave,and toaster oven. Our quiet dead end street is right off of the main road and very close to Walmart, restaurants, local beach areas, sugarloaf mountain, and the little red river!

If you’re looking for a little adventure this is the place. We enjoyed the experience of staying in a tepee and all that came with it. It was a pleasure hearing natures sounds to fall asleep to (especially the owls). Brandy was an excellent hostess making sure all our needs were met. The facilities were exceptionally clean and the atmosphere is very family friendly. We will definitely plan to stay again.

Had a great night at this adorable tiny home. It’s warm and cozy, the view is unbeatable, Jon and Kris were so inviting and friendly to talk to, and the fish were biting! The place is simple, yet fully equipped to meet all needs. We bbq’d on the porch and listened to music and really enjoyed the peaceful setting on the banks of the White! Hike on Devil’s backbone with fall colors was the perfect touch.

The home was exactly as described! The beds were so soft and comfortable! The kitchen was completely stocked and had plenty of spices! We had one tv that we had the wrong remote for and within 5 minutes of texting, Angela was there to help! We loved the layout of the house! It was a perfect stay!!

We had a great stay at Melissa's lakeside retreat. Our group had plenty of room and enjoyed playing games around the large table. Everything was super clean and comfortable and we loved waking up to the beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend staying at Melissa's place if you travel to the Fairfield Bay area. She was a fabulous host and made us feel right at home.

This was a great place to stay for the weekend! The water was a short walk down the the hill which made getting on and off our boat a breeze.. The house is very spacious! We had 6 people in our group, but would easily house 8! The kitchen and bathrooms stood out the most as they were very clean and large! Will definitely be back next year!
