Monthly Rentals in Mount Shirouma

I had a really nice and peaceful stay at this cozy cabin. Although it was not close to the gondola station or the center of ski town, there is restaurants around and a big grocery store right across the road. 10 minutes walk from the station was nice too since I didn't have a car. I rented a mountain bike and used Uber to get around town. The only downside at this place was that the bed was not very comfortable for me, it was very hard.

Very nice house in line with expectations! Nice location and everything you need within 10 minutes drive(hakuba 47, happo one ski lifts) walking distance to restaurants!

Can’t say enough good things about Dan and his home. Super cozy and clean. Dan picked us up/dropped us at the bus stop upon arrive which made it super easy. He took us to a place to rent skis and then showed us around the mountain. He even let us build a snow cave in his yard! Epic trip!

We had a wonderful stay here! The place was virtually on the main street of Echoland without being on it which meant cafes, restaurants and shuttle buses (during winter season) pretty much at your door step. Beautiful mountain views from the place. The kitchen was the best we have used during our whole Japan trip. Utensils, plates, cups etc well stocked. They had filter coffee making capabilities (and a machine!) Showers all had in built seats (great for those not steady on your feet). We loved the jets built into the bathtub. My only trouble with the place was I had an almost 2 year old toddler and the stairs up to the place didn't have any railings on one side so she could easily fall to the ground (1.5m) and there was no door to stop her accessing the stairs, so we needed to constantly keep an eye on her. The furniture, etc felt high quality and designer (solid wood, not your average IKEA fitout). Beds comfortable. Heating g Would recommend!!
