Mt. Elbert Chalet

We had a great stay and it’s very close to Monarch. We did fill the place up with 10 people though and the kitchen is not designed to cook a meal for that many people. There were no supplies like oil or spices and minimal pots/pans. The place itself was very clean though and ideal location for skiing Monarch!
A modern chalet is depicted, featuring a triangular roof and large glass windows that illuminate the interior. A spacious wooden deck extends from the front, surrounded by natural landscaping. The structure is constructed from wood and stone, set against a mountainous backdrop.

Great host and beautiful home. Excellent view and comfortable accommodation. All amenities were there as listed. Lots of indoor things (games, magazines and books) to do if you’re a group. Paul is very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. Totally enjoyed the stay!

Great cabin close to Monarch. Super clean and comfortable. Appreciated the dog friendliness - like couch covers provided, dog blanket, etc. Our pups were comfortable and felt at home. Hot tub was also lovely! Definitely recommend if looking for a place to stay in Salida.

This was our second time staying here for our anniversary. We love this place so much. The hosts are friendly, responsive, and helpful. They keep the place immaculate. The creek running along the cabins is so beautiful and serene. We’re thinking of making this an annual trip.

I rented 2 Creekside Chalets for one night to accommodate myself and my employees while we were working in the area. Although we did not utilize any of the awesome amenities that this place has to offer, the beds were great, the area is very nice and peaceful, and the sound of the creek at night was soothing for sleeping and relaxing. I will be back in Salida for more work down the road and would definitely stay here again.

Mt. Princeton Chalet

The property is very nice. The cabins are fairly close together, but they have nice privacy walls with firewood and patio walls. We had zero cell reception (t-mobile) and the wifi was really only good for texts/email, but this was all known ahead of time. The Murphy bed worked well with kids and they enjoyed running around to the playgrounds and creek. We will definitely consider coming back in the summer....the outdoor seating and grill looked fun. Super convenient location to Monarch mountain.

Mt. Massive Chalet

Loved this place! Such a great mountain cabin. We slept so well on the king bed and the hot tub was our favorite part. It’s actually bigger than pictures make it seem. We were able to cook full dinner and meals here as well. Bonus- very kid friendly with little parks scattered throughout! Wifi is a bit spotty but it’s really not terrible. A good reason to disconnect for a bit!
