Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Drop Anchor is a 2 bedroom spacious residential home on the “Quietside” of Mount Desert island. You will be 5 minutes from Acadia National park. Bass Harbor headlight, Ship Harbor, Wonderland, and Seawall picnic area. Bar harbor is a 20 minute drive. Nearby is Archies lobster pound, Hansen’s seaside takeout (both walkable) and by car Thurstons lobster pound. And Seafood ketch. There are many other options in the neighboring town of Southwest Harbor.

The Otter Creek trail connects to Otter Cove where you can watch for seals, hunt for sea glass, enjoy a day at the beach or continue your hike up the trail to Gorham Mountain, Beehive, Sand Beach, Thunderhole and beyond!

Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house is located in the Village of Southwest Harbor on Mt. Desert Island, where local lobstermen start their day around 3 am. The house is located across from Milagro Coffee Bar and the Shoppes at Southwest Harbor and just minutes away from many hiking trails in Acadia National Park, restaurants, shops, swimming holes & beaches. This beautiful, light-filled cottage on waterfront property on the western side of Mount Desert Island has picturesque views of the Mount Desert Narrows and access to a private pebble beach. The house is on very secluded wooded property for a nice private getaway. All you will hear are the sounds of birds and waves lapping up on the beach.
