One of the best places we have ever stayed, with one of the best hosts. The home is thoughtful and peaceful, Arnold and his wife have done a beautiful job at cultivating a relaxing and restful environment. The scenery and area is amazing, perfect central location for exploring lots of different parts of Maine, or the house/land is good enough for a trip where you just stay in for a week. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, hope to be back sooner than later.

You will fall in love with the charm of this home just as we did! The view from the screen porch and access to the water and Island were fantastic for our teen boys and gal to explore. The adults loved enjoying sunset with a drink from the island rocks. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated the quality towels and bed linens. If we return to Maine we would absolutely stay at this home again.

You cannot beat this location!! With the beach directly across the street, two great restaurants within a few steps, and only 10 minutes drive into Camden, this is the perfect vacation destination! We could not have asked for a better place to relax and have some fun adventures in Camden Hills and Islesboro. The house was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we could have wanted. We ended up eating out for almost every meal (so many great restaurants in the area!), but the kitchen was very well stocked to make meals in. Brendon and Krista were very quick and proactive with communication and sending check-in instructions. Thanks for such a great stay!!

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for. It’s a decent sized space with a nicely equipped kitchen, full bath and a king-sized bed (Along with a separate bedroom that we never used). The couch/futon is also quite comfy. The cabin has everything you need and possibly a little more. The location is fantastic as you’re just 10 minutes to downtown Ellsworth, which is full of nice shops and plenty of places to eat. It’s a little less than an hour to Bar Harbor, which is also very convenient. Don’t ignore the nearby rocky beach that is a short walk away and beautiful, especially in the evening. We had quite a haul of seaglass too! This is a great place with great hosts that were responsive and helpful. We can’t wait to go back!

This was our first time visiting Acadia. My partner and I along with our 2 kids ages 12 and 19 months enjoyed the stay very much. It is centrally located with everything within walking distance. Although there was plenty of parking around this time (off season), I can only imagine as it gets busy, it will be more difficult. So having parking with children was great for traveling. Our hosts pretty much thought of everything. We didn’t have to contact them. I especially appreciated how clean the house was. My only suggestion is one of the beds in the room squeaked a lot which made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, the rest of the rooms/beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit Acadia.
