Peaceful & pet friendly acre near Acadia in natural, wooded setting. Fast WiFi, view to Ripples Pond (a wildlife sanctuary), & fenced in backyard. Big 1 bed cottage has comfy King mattress + 2 sleeper futons. The Cabin (only open May 1-Oct 31) has kitchenette, bathroom & Queen bed. A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.

This oceanfront property is located in Bar Harbor, Maine just minutes form Acadia National Park. This is nestled on the coast and was once part of an artist colony. While enjoying this property you will see many seals sunbathing on the rocks just out your front door. This home is 1 mile down a private road and surrounded by 100 acres of trails. It is truly a magical place. There are kayaks available at the cabin for a small fee. Complete the waiver and pay owners upon arrival.

Craney "Tree" House near Acadia

Craney House is a comfortable place with character—good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). We affectionately call it our "tree house" because of the jungle that used to obscure the house. We love Otter Creek for its quieter access to what Acadia has to offer—close to the Park Loop Rd, carriage and hiking trails, but it's also only about 5 miles away from Bar Harbor and 10 miles to Seal Harbor.
