House vacation rentals in Motala Municipality

Malin's place was super nice and suited our two families perfectly as a base for bike excursions to Vadstena and along Göta Kanal. The pool was of course one of the highlights of the warm and sunny days we got, and the view of the expansive landscape was hard to beat.

The house was very nice in a quiet residential area. Close to the lake. Fully furnished. There was nothing missing. Very well-maintained outdoor area. Everything very clean. 100% recommendation.

We had a lovely time staying at Henrik's great house. He was a very eager host and was always available at short notice if there was a question. Great! The children felt very comfortable and were able to have plenty of adventures. The area is great, you can quickly get to the lake and there is a lot to see. A very successful vacation for us.

We had an amazing stay at Fredrik’s place! As a family of four adults, we found the house spacious and comfortable. The views of the lake are absolutely spectacular and breath-taking. The heated pool was a fantastic bonus, making our stay even more enjoyable. Fredrik and his family were exceptionally welcoming and caring, even treating us to some delicious crayfish they had fished from the lake. What more could you ask for? The area offers plenty of activities, and we loved being able to swim in the lake right next to the house. It was a very calm and relaxing experience. There are also beautiful hiking trails, making it a perfect getaway spot. However, you will most likely need a car to get to the supermarket and move around the area conveniently. Highly recommended!

We loved the sweden holiday home, lots of space in Garden and Conservatory. The house was recently renovated and had a new feeling about it. We would certainly stay again, the host was very friendly and commutative.

Nice house, easy to get on site, modern and everything worked. Good fridge and freezer, a little bit of room for food in the kitchen cabinets so we moved some things to empty shelves in a bedroom. Beautiful area with summer house in gardens mixed with nurtured nature and nice neighbors. Close to the beach, but beautiful weather and we were unfortunately not there at the same time. The area is a bit from Motala Centrum, 7 km, so you need a car or bike to get to restaurants and shops. Nice that garbage disposal and recycling work, info and instructions were available to read.

We stayed in Jakob's place during Easter and it was amazing. The house is really beautiful and very confortable. There is everything you need in the kitchen. It is kids-friendly, which is a plus for us, since we have a toddler that likes to explore everything. The weather did not cooperate this time (very rainy, unfortunately), so we are looking forward to visit Motala again during summer. ♡

Second summer in the same house and still just as happy. Unbeatable to live in the middle of this historic setting. A time trip but still with sufficient convenience.

Rural cozy accommodation that had everything we needed. Close to different sights. Such as Göta Canal. They had made extra homey with fresh flowers. Great that bed linen and the lanky were included in the price. We are super satisfied with our stay.

A beautiful home with lots of character. We kept fantasizing about living there. The house is located at the end of a quiet road, which gives you lots of privacy. The lake is at walking distance and perfect for a swim. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated in an original 60s/retro style. This makes some of the facilities somewhat dated, but everything worked fine. We weren't sure about the tap water so we drank bottled water. Some further instructions about details like these would be useful, but otherwise the communication was great. Towels and sheets were supplied for a set amount per person.

we arrived in April and there was still snow against our expectations. The house was on a slightly curious corner, but we like it a little specifically. The house is a bit outdated. The guestbook has the first entries from 1984. The fact that many families have spent wonderful weeks here is to feel. Only via the engine of the boat do many seem to complain, so you should not come for the motorboat. House is extremely cozy. Everything is very simple but you will find everything you need. The rooms is small but cozy and who comes to sit a lot in the room. I was here with six teenagers who took over the three rooms. I slept in the living room myself and was woken up every morning by the rising sun. The house has a lot of windows and the chimney is wonderful. There are masses of wood to fire. On a path past other cottages, you can reach the lake, which is breathtakingly beautiful. This place invites you to unplug. A beach is nearby and Arkersund, the place nearby is very nice. We would gladly come back. It was wonderful and especially for this price you can also afford a Swedish vacation if you don't have it quite so thick.

What a charming house! So much character. A lot of space for two families with small children to not feel like we were on top of each other. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. The location was perfect for what we wanted, calm and secluded. We enjoyed feeding the hens and baby chicks. And though we weren’t thrilled with the gifts the cats brought home, we all got along 😉 The kids thought the house was cool, yet a little scary. But they soon realised old houses have personality. Plenty of rooms for all of to spread out. Ylle was a super host and extremely quick to reply. We had no problem getting the keys and finding our way around the house. Would love to come back!
