House vacation rentals in Motala Municipality

Malins ställe var superfint och passade våra två familjer perfekt som bas för cykelutflykter till Vadstena och längs Göta Kanal. Poolen var såklart en av höjdpunkterna på de varma och soliga dagar vi fick, och utsikten över det vidsträckta landskapet var svårslagen.

Das Haus war sehr schön in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Nah am See gelegen. Komplett eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr gepflegte Außenanlage. Alles sehr sauber. 100% Weiterempfehlung.

Perfekt boende för stor familj, rent och snyggt med trevligt uterum och trädgård nära centrum i Motala. 4 minuter med bil från Varamonbadet. Rekommenderar Fridas boende starkt!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in dem tollen Haus von Henrik. Er war ein sehr bemühter Gastgeber und war immer kurzfristig zu erreichen, wenn es eine Frage gab. Ganz toll! Die Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten jede Menge Abenteuer erleben. Die Gegend ist klasse, man ist schnell am See und es gibt viel zu sehen. Für uns ein sehr gelungener Urlaub.

We had an amazing stay at Fredrik’s place! As a family of four adults, we found the house spacious and comfortable. The views of the lake are absolutely spectacular and breath-taking. The heated pool was a fantastic bonus, making our stay even more enjoyable. Fredrik and his family were exceptionally welcoming and caring, even treating us to some delicious crayfish they had fished from the lake. What more could you ask for? The area offers plenty of activities, and we loved being able to swim in the lake right next to the house. It was a very calm and relaxing experience. There are also beautiful hiking trails, making it a perfect getaway spot. However, you will most likely need a car to get to the supermarket and move around the area conveniently. Highly recommended!

We loved the sweden holiday home, lots of space in Garden and Conservatory. The house was recently renovated and had a new feeling about it. We would certainly stay again, the host was very friendly and commutative.

Fint hus, lätt att komma på plats, modernt och allt fungerade. Bra kyl och frys, lite ont om plats för mat i köksskåpen så vi flyttade en del saker till tomma hyllor i ett sovrum. Vackert område med sommarhus i trädgårdar blandad med vårdad natur och trevliga grannar. Nära stranden, men vackert väder och vi var tyvärr inte där samtidigt. Området ligger en bit från Motala Centrum, 7 km, så man behöver bil eller cykel för att komma till restauranger och butiker. Skönt att sophantering och återvinning fungerar, info och instruktioner fanns att läsa.

We stayed in Jakob's place during Easter and it was amazing. The house is really beautiful and very confortable. There is everything you need in the kitchen. It is kids-friendly, which is a plus for us, since we have a toddler that likes to explore everything. The weather did not cooperate this time (very rainy, unfortunately), so we are looking forward to visit Motala again during summer. ♡

Andra sommaren i samma hus och fortfarande lika nöjda. Oslagbart att bo mitt i denna historiska miljö. En tidsresa men ändå med tillräcklig bekvämlighet.

Lantligt mysigt boende som hade allt det vi behövde. Nära till olika sevärdheter. Så som Göta kanal. De hade gjort extra hemtrevligt med färska blommor. Härligt att sängkläder och lankan ingick i priset. Vi är super nöjda med vår vistelse.

Ein schönes Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern, nahe eines schönen Sees. Erholung pur. Die Umgebung ist wundervoll und die Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen.

Very charming cottage that is 250 years old . Located in the middle of a large farm and very private. The host is very friendly and nice. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again

A beautiful home with lots of character. We kept fantasizing about living there. The house is located at the end of a quiet road, which gives you lots of privacy. The lake is at walking distance and perfect for a swim. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated in an original 60s/retro style. This makes some of the facilities somewhat dated, but everything worked fine. We weren't sure about the tap water so we drank bottled water. Some further instructions about details like these would be useful, but otherwise the communication was great. Towels and sheets were supplied for a set amount per person.

wir sin d im April angereist und es lag gegen unsere Erwartung noch Schnee. Das Haus lag auf einer etwas kuriosen Ecke, aber wir mögen es ein bisschen speziell. Das Haus ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Gästebuch hat die ersten Einträge von 1984. Das hier schon viele Familien wunderbare Wochen verbracht haben, ist zu fühlen. Lediglich über den Motor des Bootes scheinen sich viele zu beschweren, also sollte man nicht für das Motorboot herkommen. Haus ist extrem gemütlich. Alles ist sehr einfach aber man findet alles, was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber gemütlich und wer kommt schon her um viel im Zimmer zu sitzen. Ich war mit sechs Teenagern hier, die die drei Zimmer übernommen haben. Ich selber habe im Wohnzimmer geschlafen und wurde jeden Morgen von der aufgehenden Sonne geweckt. Das Haus hat viele Fenster und der Kamin ist wunderbar. Es sind Massen an Holz zum Verfeuern da. Auf einem Pfad an anderen Ferienhäusern vorbei, gelangt man an den See, der atemberaubend schön ist. Dieser Ort lädt zum abschalten ein. Ein Badestrand ist in der Nähe und Arkersund, der Ort in der Nähe ist sehr schön. Wir würden gerne wieder her kommen. Es war wunderbar und besonders für diesen Preis kann man sich auch einen Schwedenurlaub leisten, wenn man es nicht ganz so dicke hat.

What a charming house! So much character. A lot of space for two families with small children to not feel like we were on top of each other. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. The location was perfect for what we wanted, calm and secluded. We enjoyed feeding the hens and baby chicks. And though we weren’t thrilled with the gifts the cats brought home, we all got along 😉 The kids thought the house was cool, yet a little scary. But they soon realised old houses have personality. Plenty of rooms for all of to spread out. Ylle was a super host and extremely quick to reply. We had no problem getting the keys and finding our way around the house. Would love to come back!
