We enjoyed our stay. It was a wonderful little place to stay while transitioning from another state. Teresa was always responsive and extremely welcoming.

It is a cozy home tucked away from the center city of Peoria, Illinois. The neighborhood feels safe and it is close to many local eateries and only 15 minutes away from the downtown area.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this stay! Tucked away in the forest of beautiful Illinois River Valley beside a sanctuary for animals big and small, this little cottage has everything you need for a country and vintage chic stay. We greatly enjoyed just sitting on the porch and listening to the sounds of the forest and the occasional nicker or llama's hum from a resident of the sanctuary up the path. The beds were so incredibly comfortable, I found myself checking for tags to get my own version! The love, care and wit that Cherity and John put into the place made it feel like we were staying with family. 10/10, we highly recommend this place and greatly look forward to our next visit!
