We had a fantastic time at Chris's place. Comfortable, clean, well appointed, quiet, and restful. Chris was friendly and welcoming. We love the area and it was a perfect base for us to explore around the Moretonhampstead countryside and local attractions. We left refreshed and well rested. Perfect!

10 Station Road is a cosy and comfortable place to stay on the edge of Dartmoor. The house is very well-equipped and we had everything we needed, including a great shower, and our daughter loved exploring the selection of games and books. The location is perfect, with the convenience of being in town as well as in easy reach of the moors. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Springfield cottage is a special place to stay and Sonia is an exceptional host. We also fell in love with Chagford and were very taken by the friendliness of everyone we met in the village. As a location to go hiking, Springfield cottage offers great access to local walks from the door, taking in river valleys and stepping stones, rolling hills, and (of course) the moorland. And at the end of a long day there is some truly excellent food in the village. The Globe Inn is a real highlight, although we did find that we needed to book a day in advance to guarantee a table.

We had ourselves a lovely time in this cottage. Despite the bad weather (which none of us can control!) we enjoyed a peaceful getaway with our dog and cat (yes cat!). Especially enjoyed the log burner and the veranda was a great place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and take in the scenery. The garden is private and a nice space so it was great to let the dog burn off some energy! Thank you susie for being so responsive whenever we had a query or question about the place during our stay. We ran out of hot water on the first day but you were round to fix it for us with 5 minutes and it was fine after that 😊 Ps sorry I completely forgot to mention that the cutlery drawer fell off its hinge on our first night! I left the screw that fell out in the worktop, I tried to pop it back in myself but without my tools I couldn’t!
