Monthly Rentals in Moreleigh

Jenny is not a super host for nothing! She was absolutely brilliant in offering help and advice about places to visit, beaches, restaurants, etc She gave us detailed directions how to find places we wanted to see, even checking road works to ensure our journey was smooth. Jenny texted every morning to say when she was available if we needed any help. We found her to be super friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay, especially relaxing in our little private garden, as the weather was so lovely while we were there. Thank you Jenny for looking after us so well.

We had a wonderfully peaceful retreat at Swallows nest. The place had everything we needed with lots of cute little touches that have been well thought out. The hot tub was lovely as was the little birthday package we added to the booking.

We stayed for just over a month as we were moving to Devon and waiting for our house sale to go through. The cottage was a perfect place for us. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. The garden is private and delightful, with many types of birds about: the swifts and bullfinches were especially great to see. We went walking most days and there are some very pretty views all around Halwell. The cottage had all the home comforts we needed including a good frothy coffee machine. Definitely recommended.

We had a great stay at the Patio Barn. Gilly and Tim were so welcoming when we arrived , really friendly, helpful, and chatty. During our stay they respected our space but were always around for a chat if we needed anything, which was lovely. The studio was a great size and had everything you could need (and more!) for cooking, and the BBQ was a brilliant bonus, we ended up using it for breakfast and dinner every night 😂. The location was ideal for heading to the coast and exploring the surrounding area. The driveway was a little tricky at first as it is very steep, but you quickly get used to it (reverse on). It was quite bright inside in the mornings due to the sheer curtains and blinds, but nothing that took away from the stay. Overall, we had a lovely time and would 100% come back if we’re ever in Devon again. Thanks so much, Gilly and Tim!
