Cabin vacation rentals in Moravian Falls

My girlfriend and I had a great time spending the weekend at Tucked Inn and, for the most part, everything went as smoothly as expected! We arrived late, and there was a gentleman there starting some work on the property’s hot tub. We got in touch with Donnie using his phone, and my understanding is that the repairman was meant to arrive earlier in the day. I don’t necessarily believe it was any fault of the hosts that he was around. The drive up is straightforward as long as you follow the instructions the hosts provide; the path requires 1.5-2 miles of unmapped travel, so a GPS alone won’t quite get you there. Although I would definitely recommend traveling with a higher-clearance vehicle, my compact sedan made it up just fine with some caution and patience. Overall, Tucked Inn was a great space to unplug and unwind which is something we both really needed. It’s a very cozy and low-tech-vacation space I would hope we have the chance to come back to in the future!

*100/10* This was our second time staying at The Glass Treehouse and it was just as fantastic the second time around as the first! It's so comfortable and cozy, luxurious amenities, secluded and romantic. You can tell that Ashley and Andy really put a lot of thought and care into the design and amenities for the guests. I highly recommend it to any couple looking to get away for some quality time together. We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin was well designed, And the decorating is spectacular! And the views are absolutely breathtaking.! The only things we were disappointed in is, there are no screens on the window and the water pressure is very low.

5 Stars! We stayed two nights at River Rock in Deep Gap, NC. It was pouring when we arrived, but the covered porch allowed us to still sit outside and enjoy the mountain air. The hot tub was perfect, especially with the rain coming down. The cabin is just far enough from town to feel peaceful and private, but close enough for a quick trip if you need anything. A great spot to relax—we’d definitely stay again.

Perfect couples getaway. We enjoyed the serenity, amazingly soft bed, rustic feel, and modern amenities. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved staying at Rivers Edge! Cutest little cabin with the best view! We got to see a fox across the river looking for some food and a family of deer crossing the river this morning before we left! Cabin was stocked with everything you need and the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! We will be back and refer all our friends to stay at this mountain paradise!

Can’t say enough about this place. Everything was as described. Clean, nicely decorated and private. Lots of things to do around the area and if you just wanted to stick to the cabin. There wasn’t once where we thought “you know if would be nice if we had a” or “I need a”… and we opened a cabinet or drawer and there was what we needed. Made it very much like a home and not an Airbnb. Thank you. We will be back.

Great cabin! Very comfortable and serene. The waterfall was especially lovely to hear each day. Well stocked kitchen and overall home. Would definitely return!

Super clean, great location, very peaceful! Such a beautiful place to stay if you are looking to get away from. Situated great for hiking and exploring local towns. Lance was very friendly, tagged along everywhere with us and was very interested in the dogs!

We had a fun weekend of hiking and brewery hopping and enjoyed coming back to the cabin each night! This is a small, rustic cabin, in a secluded and private location. The cabin has all of the amenities you could want, including a cook top for making breakfast and a washer/dryer for refreshing those gross hiking clothes. The only improvement that would be a game changer would be a bit more attention paid to the grounds and the walkway down to the fire pit. At night it's pretty much impossible to see without using a lantern, which we unfortunately didn't bring, and the pathway itself could use some weed-eating and maintenance. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would return!

The photos and description don't do this place justice!!! When we parked in the spacious driveway the views took our breath away, and it didn't stop there! Upon entering the cabin we immediately felt the special touches that made it feel like home! The attention to detail was apparent and made this so much more than just another vacation rental spot for us! The rooms were very comfortable & spacious, and there were as many blankets as you could possibly need!! The kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of room for us to roam about! The location was convenient for hiking and sightseeing, though I would recommend a larger vehicle if mountain roads scare you (our food delivery driver made it up in a Yaris, so the roads are technically fine for any vehicle). Above all, Steve and Caroline made us feel welcomed, and were quick to reply to any questions we had! The helpful YouTube videos were a lifesaver, and we truly can't wait to stay here again in the future!!!!

We stayed at this location for 3 nights with a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 young kids). The moment we checked in, we fell in love with the place that was private surrounded by the nature. The sound of the nature and creek was so peaceful throughout our stay. The host went Extra mile and provided access to Internet, DVDs, a lot of games to keep us entertained. We took an advantage of the trail on the property and it was totally worth it. The host really helped us recommend some places near by to visit which was very helpful. The picture doesn’t do the justice of this great property. We’d be back.

First time staying in an airBNB, and this place was great! Getting to the spot was a little testy at times, the roads to the cabin are very small and the roads are curvy. Overall the cabin looked exactly like the pictures, very clean! Jared had thought of everything, samples of toothpaste, extra toothbrushes, full size shower bottles, pantry with snacks, board games, etc. it was great staying here with my family and I’d 100% stay at any other property he’d have available. We had a running joke in the house “thanks Jared!” Because we’d just find more amenities he technically didn’t have to offer us! Pls stay here, it was absolutely great!

Absolutely beautiful setting and a really lovely house. There were some really nice touches in the available coffee and tea, high quality linens, and thoughtful welcome guide. Super quiet and out of the way, which is just what we wanted.

Renee’s cabin is simply sublime. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care went into creating this peaceful oasis in the woods. Every detail of the tiny home is thoughtfully considered, offering a level of comfort that invites relaxation, reflection, and quiet observation of the surrounding nature. Renee was communicative, generous, and provided clear, easy to follow instructions for check-in. My only regret is that we could only stay for one night. We’re already dreaming of returning for a longer getaway—and another chance to gaze up at the stars from the comfort of that cozy bed. Thanks Renee!

This was my second time at Comity Cabin, but not my last. Loved the total package: gorgeous surroundings, perfectly appointed, relaxing time to have fun with friends and sew to our hearts' content! You don't have to pack a ton of stuff, it's here! Ironing spot, cutting spot with mats, rulers, just bring rotorary cutters. lighting at each station, plugs, great chairs and work area . Everytime, we wish we were staying longer. Sarah is wonderful to work with. I almost hate to recommend, we want to save this gem for ourselves, but we are happy to share! haha, just book and go! It's great!

We came to Purlear for a wedding. The mountains alone are awesome. When we saw the cabin, we thought is was quaint and well taken care of. The cabin views were outstanding. My in-laws always love sitting on the porch. We couldn’t get them inside because it was so calming and peaceful. The cabin had everything you would need to be entertained for whatever weather. The only thing that was a negative was the air conditioner was upstairs and the downstairs didn’t get as cool as we would have liked. But our experience was awesome and our dogs had a good time as well. I would definitely rebook this cabin if ever in that area again.

Andrea went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was super kind. Our stay was memorable and her cabin is epic. It’s gorgeous, quaint, and cozy. We will be back!!

Three of us stayed at Heaven's Door Mountain Retreat in Moravian Falls, NC and had an amazing time! The wooded location and the cabin provided privacy, tranquility and much needed peaceful sleep. The cabin was immaculate, decorated beautifully, comfortable, spacious and yet very cozy offering all the modern amenities listed. We especially enjoyed coffee and tea on the front porch and reading /writing in the upstairs loft while listening to music from the Bose surround system which can be played inside and outside the cabin. The kitchen is lovely and provides all the necessities if one wants to cook. However, we choose to go to nearby local restaurants for dinner. Communication with our gracious and friendly hosts, Michael and Judy, made everything from booking the cabin to checking out hassle free. They provided many special thoughtful touches like a Welcoming Basket full of goodies. We definitely plan on coming back ! Thank you so much Michael and Judy for sharing your home!

This was our second time staying here with our two pups! We absolutely loved our stay here and so did our pups. We loved the fenced in area. We cooked every night for dinner and had everything we needed. The exterior amenities are amazing as well. we loved using the gas fire pit on the porch surrounding by the lights! Great place for a relaxing weekend! Close enough to drive into west Jefferson to explore

Property was very well maintained, we had everything we needed for the weekend and also really enjoyed all the extra things they offer/include. We loved the design of the place and would definitely stay again.

Gil’s place was amazing! There are no worlds to describe the view! So clean , peaceful, felt just like home! Plenty of space, well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds! He is so responsive, so kind , funny, and genuine! I will recommend this amazing cabin over and over! I can’t wait for our next stay!
