Vacation rentals with a kayak in Mooresville

This lake house was the perfect place to getaway for the weekend, and we wish we could have stayed longer! The views of the lake were incredible. There was tons of outdoor space to enjoy. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed to cook meals at home. The house was very clean and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed this house and would love to rent it again!

Nice lake house. Comfortable spaces. The living room was spacious but only 1 table lamp to light the space after dark. This house is not one to pick for anyone with mobility issues as all bedrooms are downstairs and kitchen/living room upstairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay! The house is equipped with everything you need and then some! So peaceful and quiet The walk down to the water is a workout but beautiful. We had an amazing stay here and will come back if we are in the area again!

This house was awesome! My Fiancé and I rented this to gather family for Easter 2025. Linda gave us permission to have family who were semi local to visit for our Easter dinner which was so special to us! My guests staying with us were impressed with how relaxing the back area was with the pool and the sunroom. We had multiple adults, our niece (6mo) and several of our 4 legged nieces / nephews and there was plenty of space for us all. We are so grateful for Linda and her generosity! The day of check out one of our guests had rental car issues that took several hours to correct. Linda was gracious enough to extend our check out to allow time for them to fix the car issues and then get back to the house to pack up. We will definitely be coming back!

Julie was such a great host and this property was truly beautiful! The place looks just like the picture and was even more spacious than I expected! This property easily accommodated my group. Julie was very responsive and made sure to give us updates on an issue out of her control. Will be booking again! We’ve already started planning our next trip.

Million dollar views! We enjoyed our stay beautiful views of the sunset right on the lake. This place was so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Scott communicated and checked on us during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

Ok you have to stay here! The house is just lovely with beautiful vaulted ceilings, wood beams, bright sunlight filtering through the giant windows and skylights complete with beautiful views. It is designed to feel peaceful, stylish and comfortable. It literally has ALL the things to do and plenty of privacy. I can’t even list it all the amenities in the space given. To top it off the host Allison was beyond thoughtful! There was a little sign to welcome us and she left a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Made us feel like we were staying in the home of close friends. Seriously just rent this one, you WILL love it!

Serenity Cove was absolutely incredible! The pictures didn’t do it justice! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with some friends. The views were incredible and picturesque. The location was the best of both worlds being far enough from the city to feel like you’re tucked in your own little wonderland but still close enough in case you need to run to the store, go uptown or place a delivery order. The house is stocked with all sorts of things like cooking utensils and games and truly nothing beats just sitting and spending time on their amazing deck. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a spot for a getaway in the Charlotte area.

We absolutely loved this place! Stayed here with my family and in laws for thanksgiving. The place is stunning, just as shown in the pictures, very clean, and incredibly well stocked. They thought of literally every details. Hosts were also incredible responsive…we needed a step stool and they dropped off two options within 10 minutes. We will absolutely be back. Absolutely the BEST play to stay! We booked a 3-night stay for a weekend getaway. I found Sun-filled Lakefront Cottage Oasis by happenstance while looking for a retreat at Lake Norman. It was exactly what we had hoped for! A quiet, cozy, clean cottage on a beautiful property with breathtaking views of the lake. It's just a short drive into town with plenty of places to eat but also had a kitchen (very well stocked) so you could cook yourself and stay in (& why not with those views). The pier was great, and it had nice shade to sit and relax while reading a book, fishing, or just enjoying nature. The cottage was extremely comfortable overall with everything you could possibly need for a getaway. We loved that you have a lake view from all rooms of the cottage. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and gracious. I loved the recommendations as to what to see and where to eat in Sherrill’s Ford put together by the owner! Absolute perfection…We will definitely be back!!

Jack is a great host. My wife and I enjoyed meeting him. He does not live in the BnB but is close by if you need him. He met us at the house and showed us around. The house is beautiful and right on the water. The boat ramp is 3 mins from the house. We will definitely be back!!

My family and I loved this home so much that we can’t wait to go back. The home is beautiful inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, amazing deck and dock. The view from this home is absolutely gorgeous. We loved watching people enjoying the lake on their boats and jet skis. My daughters loved the paddle boat. The home is fully supplied with life vests also. We really appreciated that. This home outshined any home I ever booked. 10 out of 10! Can’t get over the views and multiple decks. We will be back :).

Provided space and amenities were just right for our 2 teens, German Shepherd, wife & me. We have family friends in the area, so we are likely to return to this listing. We might bring our own kayaks next time just to balance out our options and in case the pontoon boat isn't available. I will remain a smidge jealous of the kitchen when I get home. My height-challenged spouse might've appreciated a step-stool for some cabinets and for using the clothes-dryer. We appreciated the selection of board games during the rainiest days and that the home seemed to be free of manufactured scents (like scented candles, etc.). Turns out, the water off the dock will yield some fun catfish catches. Cast southward and let it sit about 2 to 3 feet under a bobber. We baited our hooks with doughballs blended with cheese, Italian dressing, & brown sugar. Caught 8 in total during the last 2 days of our stay.

This is a lovely cozy cabin, great for a family for a long weekend. The kitchen is adequately stocked with the basic pots/pans and utensils for cooking. The yard, balconies, and docks are spacious and great for sitting outside. We saw deer and beaver. The front driveway gate makes the space feel private. The rooms are comfortable size. There is only one bathroom upstairs near the bedrooms but has double sinks (and lots of towels), which helped. Bring ear plugs for the insects and frogs that party all night. We would stay here again!

Jamie covered everything in her e-mails, texts and booklet at the cabin that we had absolutely no questions or need for communication. We DID have a need to return after checkout to return the kayak to its proper location and she graciously gave us the go-ahead. We needed help from our grandsons to get it on the dock and carry it up to the rack provided and had to wait till they got out of school. Would so recommend her place to anyone who wants a lovely place on Lake Norman especially if they need to b near the Troutman area. Wonderful place!!!

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful home on a beautiful point with a fantastic view!! We would certainly stay here again, the whole house has a perfectly chill lake vibe, comfortable furniture, and is immaculately clean! Arouna & Charlie were wonderful hosts, immediately responsive and the care they have for this home shows!

The property was very private and peaceful for a lake stay! Aaron was very accommodating with our arrival and always responded quickly to our questions. Highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay on the lake. I loved the area. It was a great place to take walks and enjoy the outdoors. Our boys really enjoyed the kayaks. The house was really close to so many places and activities in the Charlotte area.

My 3 friends and I drove 9 hrs from NJ to spend the wknd with a friend in Mooresville. Our 1st (of several) OMG moments came as we pulled in (and down) the driveway and saw the lake right in front us. James place was AMAZING! The external pics don't do the place justice. The cabin is only minutes from shopping and great dining. The location right on the lake is priceless. Hanging on the boat dock or sitting on the porch watching the sunset were highlights of our stay. My friends and I loved the house! We highly recommend it and will be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Roberta’s place! Definitely recommend, especially when the weather is warmer so the lake activities can be enjoyed.
