Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Moonee Valley City

We were in town for the formula 1. Eric was a fabulous host who guided us to his superb house set just a short walk from Flemington bridge station. The house was very comfortable, a pleasure to return to after a baking Saturday and miserable Sunday at the race. There were plenty of extras to make the stay more comfortable, like breakfast goodies and coffee. The linen was great, beds uber comfy. Highly recommend for those travelling with kids. Added bonus was a washer/drier.

Enjoyed all the extra special touches inside the house that you do not have yourself in your own home. Very convenient location to restaurants of many nationalities and close distance to airport. Very welcoming hosts.

Right from the first message I sent Sam he was very responsive and helpful through all aspects of communication. Check in/out was very easy. The home from the front is deceiving however once inside the high ceilings and large rooms make it very spacious and clean. Sam is more than willing to accommodate any request you have. Thanks for the slow-cooker this was a such lifesaver for me. All bedrooms are neat and tidy. Beds are super comfy. Bathrooms are bright and clean. Coming from the country we had never experienced a SMART home before, so this was certainly something my teens had a ball with. The idea of changing the light colour, brightness etc was a fantastic feature for them. Sam – thank you for opening your home to us, its been a pleasure dealing with you. We may see you again same time next year😊

Great setup for our family with young kids. Location was perfect for our needs and a train station is only at end of the street. Place was more spacious than we expected Thanks for leaving a Christmas tree, the kids loved it.

Tomi’s place was spotless and made us feel at home! Really convenient location and very easy to get into the centre. Tomi was very friendly and quick to respond if I had any questions. His dog Billie is also very friendly and welcoming 😊

Loved our stay! The apartment was very quiet and comfortable. Location superb with a wide choice of quality restaurants, parks and shopping and all walkable. We loved the Hotel Gitan a delicious spot for either lunch or dinner.

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

We had a great two night stay at Jeff & Melinda’s. They were great communicators, and made us feel very welcome to use their place. The apartment is well located right next to a tram stop and has amazing views of the city. Check in was a little tricky because you can’t park in front of the building to grab the key (google street view is old and you can’t park there anymore as it’s a bike lane, so we parked around the corner and walked to get the key). But otherwise check in was easy enough with the detailed instructions and it was convenient that we could grab the key any time. The place was spotlessly clean and there were lots of thoughtful inclusions. We also enjoyed the use of the pool and spa, which were nicely heated. Overall, one of the best stays we’ve had in Melbourne!

Jo's place was beautiful, exactly as described and felt right at home. Check in was also easy. Jo was super responsive and communication was easy. Would book again!

I had a wonderful stay! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, even better than the photos. It’s in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the tram line and has a couple of lovely cafés right downstairs. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved our stay at Michelle’s. This place is 5stars, beautiful touches of thoughtful items for guests, condiments, oils and a stocked pantry of useful items for cooking, beautiful crockery and fluffy towels. The bed is super comfy, couch and sitting area was great to relax after day exploring, working etc. University just around corner and work space perfect to catch up on study, work etc. Walking distance and easy access to the city centre and Queen Victoria markets We will be back and recommend this place to couples when they are in Melbourne. Michelle thinks of the guest experience at all times, with so many nice/thoughtful items. Thanks Michelle for hosting us. Beautiful place.

House was big & spacious. Enough room for all of us. It was in nice & quiet neighbourhood. Good 25 minutes ride to city. Good host.

We had a great weekend away at Chelos place located in a nice historic part of Richmond within walking distance of everything. Accomodation was cosy and Hosts are fun to chat to and very helpful. Chelo is also a good source of knowledge for anybody interested in European fashion design !

The place is nice. Matches the description. Beautiful house. Peter and Jennette were generous when I requested for post midnight check in. Recommended.

Wonderful central property for family group to stay in. Very comfortable and homely for all ages. Encouraged informal catch ups in spacious areas available. Easy to get around with car spaces plus very close to public transport. Brenda was responsive and helpful.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s fantastic house! It’s a beautiful property, and larger than it seems in the photos. It’s also very well equipped, and with the crazy Melbourne weather kept us warm with the heating and cool with the aircon. Our pup really enjoyed her time there, too! The pool is also fantastic, and the decked area great for chilling out. We would love to stay again in future!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is super lovely, clean, cozy, and feels just like home. Everything was neat and well taken care of and Chelo is so warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Felt like staying with friends rather than just booking a place. Plus, their dog, Carla is the cutest! She made the stay even more special. I'll miss you Carla :) The house itself is tidy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. Would 100% come back. Highly recommend!
