So comfy and warm, this is a wonderful place to experience Tasmania's south. Louella's home sits on a small rise overlooking the Verona Sands beach, and this view changes continually with the weather, daylight and tide. At night, the stars are amazing. The home itself is comfy and cosy. We stayed in May, and the air con and fireplace meant we were always warm. Beds are great with lovely linen sheets, and one bedroom has a window seat for quiet book reading. The beach is so close and an easy walk, as is another walk along the coast starting in the reserve next door. Cygnet is 20 minutes away with its cafes, galleries, shops and grocers - all of high quality, and if you'd like lunch at a winery, Home Hill is a 40 minute drive. So good we lunched there twice. The kitchen is fully equiped, and while the oven is a bit tricky to operate, there are instructions and Louella is a phone call away. A great place to turn off the world and relax. (well just a bit, the wifi is great!)

A truly calming and beautifully curated home. Thoughtful interiors, warm textures, and stunning natural light made it feel like a boutique escape. The views were absolutely breathtaking — we found ourselves just sitting and soaking it all in. Perfect for a peaceful reset. Clean, stylish, and full of heart. Can’t wait to return.

Gorgeous sea cottage overlooking the cliff. So well designed and decorated with curated eyes in both art collection and furnishings. Private and quiet even though there’s a house directly behind sea cottage. Perfect for a writer and artist as I got so much done with the sea as inspiration. Cockatoos came and visited me everyday. 1st day just by himself, day 2 he brought his partner, on day 3 he invited 8 more of his friends so the 9 of them welcome me with fanfare!

This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

Great location, easy access to public transport and amenities. Beautifully decorated, a lovely space to escape to.

What a MAGNIFICENT place!! One in a million find with a view to die for absolutely gorgeous home with such a warm feel. We were so blessed to sit with our morning coffee and view a pod of dolphins pass by. The wonderful music supplied with record player was top notch at keeping this beautiful place always vibing. We will definitely be back and such close proximity some of the worlds best winery’s and restaurants. Thank you for having us.

The Sea Loft was the perfect getaway - we loved the stunning open plan design of the place, and its setting in the woodland with kangaroos. Lots of windows and outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the outdoor space too. We were lucky to see KI in rain and shine and the Sea Loft was the perfect way to enjoy it whether sitting outside or inside by the fire looking out through the windows. The interior design was impeccable and free of clutter, but had all the amenities we needed. Definitely up there with one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at!

We stayed here for my mum’s 70th birthday celebration and absolutely loved it. The setting was just beautiful – the gazebo and lush garden made the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. The kids had a great time around the campfire, and the kitchen was very well equipped, which made preparing our meals a breeze. I especially appreciated the lovely selection of teas left in the kitchen – such a thoughtful touch. We all had such a fun and memorable night. Would definitely love to come back again in the future!

Beautiful home and fantastic host! Super clean, elegant space with a very large kitchen, living space and incredibly comfortable bed. Scottie was extremely accommodating with both our 11pm check in and use of the spa under the stars. Always available to help, we felt right at home and loved feeding the sheep in the morning!

Medlow Bath is a fantastic, peaceful location near to Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Denise was a wonderful host and provided us with many recommendations for the area. The space was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

This place is amazing!! So beautifuly decorated with many personal touches and delicious home-made treats. Everything about it is spot on and in a beautiful, tranquil, country setting. Hosts are super friendly - we enjoyed our chats & walks through the gardens. Can highly recommend it... we hope to be back!

We had a lovely time staying in the loft. It is very clean, something important to us and we felt very comfortable. We loved the view, the comfortable bed, the easy kitchen, the location close to the beach and walks. It has been one of the nicest places we have stayed in for convenience and comfort. The car was off the street too.

Catherine was very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the booking, check in and check out process. The place was amazing and in such a great location in St Kilda. The added touch of putting the fire on for us on arrival, on a cold evening, was very thoughtful. We had a great time in St Kilda and Melbourne, using Catherine's place as a hub made it all the more special. I cannot forget to mention the great recommendations for cafes, bars and restaurants locally that are now on our 'must go back to' list.

The two-bedroom unit was beautifully presented, exceptionally clean and generously appointed with breakfast products. We were fortunate to stay 12 days. The views are spectacular as you look across valleys that ultimately lead to the Mary Valley and the Mary River, a significant river in South-east Queensland. The entire property is beautifully presented - the driveways are wide, and the grounds are meticulously maintained. The gardens have some lovely roses, including a Montville Rose. A real bonus is seeing the cattle ruminating in a paddock just below you. We were fortunate to witness a newborn calf taking its first steps in life.

Emily has created a beautiful haven at Howards end. It felt so inviting to walk into and the impeccable styling throughout was a visual treat. The bed was super comfortable and furnishings divine. I can't wait to book my next stay. Thank you Emily. 🤍

We had a great stay at George's place. Great view of the breaking waves from the deck, a warm house, comfy bed, well-equipped and stocked kitchen. Communication was easy. All as good as could be!

Fantastic stay away. Warm, cosy, rained the whole weekend but didn’t matter as we were able to spend the weekend adventuring local towns and watching the rain come over the mountains through the ceiling high glass windows. Fireplace was perfect, we were able to have our boarder collie with us (who also enjoyed sleeping by the indoor fireplace) Wayne and Jodie and made a beautiful handmade breakfast basket for us for the first morning with fresh baked bread, delicious passion fruit butter and more. The perfect weekend to de-stress.

Ruth is a great host. I will definitely recommend to book her place. The place is so peaceful with amazing views. The sunset and sunrise was breathtaking.

Absolutely amazing, was only 5 minutes from Apollo Bay, and a tonne of great restaurants, the accommodation was very clean, very secluded, there was a bottle of champage and chocolates upon arrival. The spa with the view absolutely incredible! Everything was thought of. Comfortable bed and loved the gas fireplace so didn't have to cart wood in! I would absolutely recommend this experience and we will be back. Thank you for an amazing stay :)

Wonderful stay, just a peaceful beautiful location, lovely gardens, surroundings were magical. Lisa was a delight, and I enjoyed every moment. The spa is perfect. Didn’t need for anything, plenty of firewood and pinecones! Just lovely. Thank you Lisa it was a pleasure to meet you!

We booked this beautiful retreat to celebrate Zoe’s birthday and it completely exceeded our expectations. The photos honestly don’t capture how stunning and serene it is in real life. From the moment we arrived, it felt like our own private sanctuary. We spent our days by the pool and our nights by the fire , both indoors and out and loved every second. The space is beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect mix of luxury and seclusion. Truly a magical place. We’ll definitely be back!

Federico, Dave and Chris have the best place to stay in the southern highlands if you want a peaceful, idyllic and private stay. My partner and I had the best gateway which was made even better that we could bring our dog and the area was secure for him to roam around. This place is so perfect, all the little details and well thought out! Do yourself a favour if you need to get out of the city and looking for somewhere peaceful and private this is just the spot don’t hesitate to book it! We didn’t want to leave and I am sure you will feel the same.
