Cobb cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It is spotlessly clean, artfully decorated but comfortable at the same time. My daughter’s favourite activity was feeding the birds and mine was looking up at the stars at night. It’s also walkable to dog friendly off leash areas and beautiful picnic spots. We also enjoyed the food at Swordfish brewery and Island Sushi.

A lovely stay at Geoff’s house. Great location, across from the beach, and super peaceful. A lovely front verandah to hang out on with the dogs, rocking in the hammock. The only downside was that the second bedroom didn’t have any blinds or curtains so next door’s light kept the kids awake until late. This definitely needs seeing to as nobody wants tired kids at the end of a weekend away. Overall, a lovely weekend break.

K'Gari is the perfect orchid beach holiday home. High up in the trees with beautiful views watching whales over orchid beach and Waddy Point. The house is set out well, the flow and views from the kitchen, large couches and big dining table are wonderful. A separate toilet to bathroom is excellent when you have 1 bathroom. Use the foot wash before going up the back deck, wipe your feet and you will have very minimal sand in the house. The front deck with views captures the morning sun and is positioned well to capture shade and breeze for your afternoon drinks. We've been to Fraser many times (camping and houses) and my favourite is Orchid beach. A trip to Wathumba creek is a must do. The walk to Platypus Bay is breathtaking (and I live in the Whitsunday's).

Gorgeous home that has everything you could need, surrounded by lovely gardens that attract birdlife. Quiet, peaceful location with views to Westernport Bay. Ian could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Highly recommended.

Just a perfect coastal getaway location

Perfect spot for exploring the surrounding surf spots with a group of boys.

We just finished a 4 night stay at this place and it was lovely. There is a simplicity to low tech and low overhead living which is what this is about. Leave the windows open and live among the space. This is a summer haven. Close to the beach and countryside. The beach is a 2 mins drive up the drivewayt and across the road. The town is 10 mins away. That distance is perfect because the town is nuts. There are people everywhere. Each time I got back to the property I felt releived to be away from the crowds again. Gudrun and her partner are absolutely lovely people and impeccable hosts. They were super helpful and you can see that this place will just keep getting better. Thx

Alexandra has put a lot of love and care into this cottage with some very thoughtful details, like pantry staples and treats! The area was beautiful and peaceful, everything in the cottage was clean and in perfect working order, and Alexandra is a lovely, attentive host, who went the extra mile to ensure our family had everything we needed for a great stay.

Such a lovely stay at the cottage. On arrival there was a lovely hamper of goodies. The play ground was a hit for my daughter to keep her busy and we could watch her from the deck. The place was very tidy and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor bath added a relaxing touch. Nice and close to Maleny if your wanting to go out for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Kevin’s place is superb! Close to Mt Hotham and just a quick drive to Bright. It was cozy inside and they’ll make sure you have firewood available for their fireplace! Will definitely be back!

We had a beautiful few days at Catherine’s gorgeous home. What a special spot they have on the river! Catherine’s home is so lovely and spacious, perfect for our family of 5. A little piece of paradise!

A lovely, well appointed apartment with a private entrance out back of the main residence. Perfect for the two of us. Convenient to two beaches and the main walking track along the waterfront. Very much enjoyed the freshly baked loaf of bread from Paula for breakfast. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Gene’s place in Brunswick Heads. The house is just amazing. Stunning interiors, invariably comfortable beds and everything we needed. We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful homely place, enough room for 2 adults a baby and a large dog. The place was well equipped with stunning decor. We loved the location also and frequented the local cafe each day. It was the perfect getaway for our wee family

Fran's place is perfect for a quiet getaway. The cabin is well equipped and has everything you could need. Our dog enjoyed roaming around the paddocks and the space is very pet friendly. The cabin is very tranquil but still only a short drive from all the amenities you need. Fran is also an amazing host and was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back!
