Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Montrose, Houston

My partner and I have stayed at the Bungalow and the Casita several times. Always so clean, comfortable, well decorated - he sets up very welcoming spaces. The bathroom configuration with the giant bathtub is a favorite feature! The Bungalow has a spacious kitchen with everything you need if you want to do your own cooking. Always a lovely experience!

The place was beautiful and peaceful. Lots of space to hang out, I loved the set up. Host was very helpful and friendly. Host was also extremely generous and provided a little treat for our trip as it was our honeymoon the host made it a point to make the stay great. The host was also great with communication and gave us extra information and kept us up to date with timeline on check in. Host checked in to make sure we were having a great stay as well as being sure we knew we could reach out and let them know of anything that could be done to improve the quality of our stay. Overall very happy with our stay.

The apartment and bungalow provided the perfect stay for my husband and I and another couple for a 2 night stay for a wedding we attended. We appreciated the care taken to restore the beautiful home and apartment in the historic neighborhood.

Exceptional stay at Ann's lovely home. One of our best AirBnB experiences to date. We had three generations all staying together and everyone was able to have ample personal space, but we loved being able to gather together on the second floor every morning and evening. Very clean, great location, and wonderful host. Can't recommend it enough!

Great place to stay. Felt right at home. Beautiful home and gated yard, which was great for our dog. The owner even had extra things for us when we arrived which was so sweet. We will definitely be staying there again when we come back to Houston.

This was the perfect space for our weekend getaway! We had some trouble with the lock but the hosts were very responsive and we had it sorted out within 10 minutes. Their guidebook was perfect and we tried a few of their recommendations which were delicious!!We will definitely rebook this space for our next Houston trip :) P.s. - the pillows were like fluffy clouds!! So comfy!!

The apartment is lovingly decorated, bright and relatively spacious. There is a door between the living room and bedroom, so you can also retreat. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Kerri's. Location was good. We needed 10 minutes walking to the train and about 20 minutes walking to Montrose. We just had to go through a quiet neighborhood at night. Overall, I felt very safe here as a woman. At night, it was also very quiet in the street. You don't need to bring shampoo. Many leave their shampoo there when they leave (lower cabinet in the bathroom) and the housekeeper provides shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and towels. If I remember correctly, there's even a hair dryer. The kitchen is also well equipped. Before you go shopping for the first time, it's best to first check what food is already there. Maybe you can make something nice out of it. :)

Our stay for work at Lodgeur was great! Clean apartment, well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. Overall we recommend this location!

Archie's place is a great find. He was very responsive and helpful. The place was even nicer than I was expecting. It's walkable to many places or just a short Uber ride to other neighborhoods. I would gladly stay again.

Had a wonderful stay at Jeff's place! Host's have gone the extra mile to make things super comfortable & convenient. Communication was great & they are extremely thoughtful in every way. Had everything I needed & then some - extra towels, laundry detergent, coffee creamer, a luggage rack, etc. Very clean & well stocked. Bed was comfortable. I felt safe in the neighborhood. I was able to park in front of their house with no issues. This is close to Texas Medical Center & MD Anderson - an easy, quick drive from the house. This host does an excellent job. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

I absolutely loved my stay here! The area was so quiet and peaceful, and everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy, beautiful neighborhood. I would definitely stay again highly recommend.

We booked this stay for my now-husband and his friends to get ready in for our wedding ceremony. Marie had a bouquet of flowers with a kind note on the counter for us. She was VERY responsive and personable. Lots of space, great location, and very clean! Definitely recommend and would book again.

Brandon was an exceptional host—attentive, helpful, and genuinely thoughtful. I now understand why this place books up so quickly! The space was clean, comfortable, and roomy enough for my family to feel right at home. Brandon even went above and beyond by helping us load our belongings into our Uber when it was time to leave. The location is fantastic, with great food spots and activities just a short walk away. I would absolutely stay here again—he truly sets the bar for what it means to be a great host.

We had a great stay at Sharif’s place! The home was absolutely beautiful, honestly even better than the photos. Everything was super convenient, and the rooms and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. We had a small issue checking in with the door lock, but Sharif was super responsive and helped us out within minutes, which we really appreciated. The location was perfect for our event at NRG Stadium—it was walkable or just a super quick drive, and being right around the corner from the parking lot made things even easier. We loved our stay and will definitely be back next time we’re in town for an event! 5 STARS!!!!! <3

Enjoyed everything about my stay from start to finish. So close to everything that I needed to get to from the unit, it was perfect for 2 people to stay. It was easy to find, and when I needed to get in contact with host, he was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here next time in Houston.
