Jaime's cute house was the perfect place for our stay on Badin Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Really like the covered parking too since it rained a lot during our stay. It was nice to be able to unload the car without getting too soaking wet!

The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy lakefront property. The home was spotless and inviting, with a perfect setup for a relaxing getaway. Being right by the lake made it even more special; our family had a blast using the kayaks and other lake toys provided. There was a small hiccup during our stay, but Amanda was incredibly responsive and proactive. She went above and beyond by offering us a later checkout time to make up for it—such thoughtful hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with plenty of outdoor fun. We’d love to come back!

This property reminded me of our childhood summer vacations spent at Uncle Bill's place on the lake. The family carried in our luggage and 'stuff,' and that was the last that the car was used, at least for the kids. The summer will be prime weeks for this property. We picked this property because of its proximity to the BSA Camp Barnhardt, where the Nordic Forge Festival was held. But the outside sitting area with the hot tub far outshone the other options. The first night, we were settled in and using it before sundown. We stayed out there until after the street lights came on. The evening ended with a long soak in the hot tub. Our son brought us breakfast in the morning, and we sat at the kitchen bar and enjoyed the company before we headed to the festival. Our son was impressed to the point of suggesting we book this place whenever we're in the area. The place passed my hook test. There were hooks where you needed them. In the bathroom, hang a bathroom kit. Till next time

Adorable home with a beautiful view of the lake. The screen porch was lovely and where we spent most of our time at the house. We grilled two of the three evenings and went into nearby Albemarle one night for dinner. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were very nice. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Please keep in mind, if you are bringing a boat, make sure you bring a 4-wheel drive vehicle as the driveway is very steep, and we had to park in the gravel at the top of the hill.

This was the perfect place, it was peaceful and accommodating to our needs. The host was extremely pleasant and quick to respond when we needed them. I can’t wait to visit again for a relaxing weekend! I highly recommend.

I loved staying in Laura’s apartment! It’s on the second floor of a shopping center and I like how it is old fashioned but also very clean and has everything you need or want. It is right downtown and you can walk to the grocery store, plus some very nice churches, shops and restaurants. It is not far away from the Town Creek Indian Mound and the Uwharrie National Forest. Laura is very personable and communicates very well. Would highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S. I took a class at Sunstone Massage and Wellness right up the road so if you ever want a good massage go see Melissa Smith.

Jane was wonderful to communicate with. Our stay was amazing, and she was very accommodating to our needs or requests even prior to booking. She had everything you need, plenty of sleep space, and CLEAN! If you need a nice peaceful weekend getaway, dont hesitate to book!

This has been one of the most comfortable and relaxing stays I have experienced in many years of travel. The living space, the bed and bedding are superior. The setting, within a beautiful green Sandhills forest is quiet and serene, yet close enough to restaurants and delicious fresh peaches and ice cream to not feel isolated. Brian has gone above and beyond to make my solo stay just perfect. So communicative and helpful, he is the perfect host. I will be back!

I really enjoyed Amy’s place. It was perfect! The space was clean, comfortable, and more spacious than I was expecting. I was in town for a couple of days for a continuing education class and it was only 2 doors down! The convenience can’t be beat. I’ll definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises!

It doesn't get much better than this. The view, the accommodations, fresh fruit, muffins and yogurt await you when you arrive. The apartment is well furnished, the bed is comfortable, and the view cannot be beat! Kim and Rainer couldn't have been more pleasant. We will be back!
