House vacation rentals in Montgomery County

The house is even more beautiful once you’re there. Pictures do not do it justice. So many comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. Beds are very comfortable, everything is spotless and we spent many nights by the fire on the screened porch and mornings looking out over the lake. The host was fabulous and so responsive. This will be the ONLY place we stay when we visit family in NC.

We had such a wonderful weekend getaway at this property. Met all of our needs and expectations. Linda was very accommodating and accessible 100% of the time. Great location, we were able to visit the zoo and charlotte motor speedway. The community was awesome, we enjoyed the beach and the restaurant. Looking forward to our next stay!

Beautiful house located in a cove of the lake so it was very peaceful. Alejandro was very responsive and quick to fix a minor issue we had when we arrived. I’d definitely visit again.

Beautiful place! There were 4 couples and the space accommodated us wonderfully. Host was very receptive to questions and all instructions were clear. Sitting on the dock by the lake was heaven. We had a great extended weekend and would recommend to anyone. James

Fun and relaxing resort to get away. The home is very clean. There is a lot of parking area if you bring a boat like we did. The hosts were great and let us have a late check out. The pool is huge and there are a lot of other fun amenities in the resort. We can't wait to go back!

What an amazing little home. We felt so comfortable yet each had their own space. The place was clean and had so many extras for the kids to do. We got to play putt putt and swim in the lake. Definitely would stay again. The host was very responsive and helpful.

Stunning A-frame on the lake! We loved the neighborhood, the house had great decor, it was cozy and clean. Kitchen has everything you need. The view was spectacular! We enjoyed using the kayak/canoe; sipping morning coffee on the dock; and grilling out having dinner on the deck. We explored Morrow Mountain State Park and Uwharrie National Forest OHV trails. Highly recommend going to Maim street and getting coffee at Reservoir Caffee (try the Uwharrie Iced Latte). No notes for Carrie! It was a pleasure communicating with her, I can’t wait to return!

Absolutely great property! We had a wonderful time. Great dock and even better distance to the dock. 20 steps and you're on the water! One of the best lake properties we've experienced!

Beautiful!! Comfortable and clean home. Location is fabulous. We had a fair amount of rain but the gazebo swing was the perfect dry location for swinging and reading! Excellent communication and Donna went above and beyond to secure extra parking spaces for us. I hope to go again!

We had a great time at Marian Elaine’s place. The house sits on the main channel of Lake Tillery so the views are outstanding. The house was clean and it appears to have been remodeled recently. The layout is nice with a large, open Living room/dining area/kitchen in the middle with 2 bedrooms and a bath on either end of the house. There is a large screened porch facing the lake, a large uncovered deck area beyond the porch, and a covered/shaded sitting area on the pier. Nice, safe neighborhood. Albemarle is about 15 minutes away with restaurants, grocery, etc.. Hope to make it back sometime soon.

This was the perfect family-friendly spot. The host thoughtfully provided everything a family would need to make the stay even more memorable. The house was perfectly located in the cove of Lake Tillery which made for such a serene atmosphere, perfect for morning coffee. Kudos to our host for maintaining this home so beautifully.

Super cozy and in a perfect deep cove location just off the main channel but tucked away and private. The upper deck on the boat house was amazing for catching morning sun. As a frequent renter in the lake it was great to have an open boat slip to keep our boat in. Wonderful selection of reading material on hand as well. Highly recommend this home and family as they were amazing and have really made their lake cottage feel like home away from home!

Second year staying here, and hopefully not the last. The lake, the views, the sunsets, the house! It’s all wonderful and amazing. Go book this place, our kids loved every minute and we did too.

Beautiful home that was perfect for our stay. I lived mornings on the deck overlooking the lake! The home was clean and organized. I appreciated the Keurig coffee! We will stay here again when we visit family in the future!

Loved the place nice quiet cove nice dock with plenty of light for night time. Plan on going back with the wife and kids for a weekend.

one of the nicer places we have stayed. loved the game room, gave us things to do at night after being on the boat all day. house was perfect for 5 adults and 2 kids. they have a whole house water filter which is nice to have so you don't have to have a bunch of bottle water. had everything we needed and any questions we had where answered promptly. thanks for the great memories.

What a beautiful gem on Lake Tillery! Location is great especially if you’re a boater, as the marina is about 5 miles away. Place was spotless and as pictured. Hosts were very responsive in communication. We met our daughters and grandson here to have a weekend of R&R and we got it! We will be back for sure! Untillery we meet again! 😉

We enjoyed our stay in your home. It was the perfect size for our sisters! The view was tranquil and porch would have been great if the weather was a bit warmer! We had a wonderful weekend!

A Stones Throw, was a beautiful house. It was very accommodating for our big family, as we came for my daughter's graduation. There are multiple levels (3) in the home for everyone to spread out. Every level has a bathroom and at least one bedroom and the views from each level of Lake Badin were beautiful. Unfortunately, most of the days we were there it rained but fortunately, not graduation day! When it rains you are not really able to use the screened in porch/deck, as everything gets wet. But you can still take in the wonderful views from inside the home. Joy was great with responding to any questions we had, and she certainly makes sure you have all of the instructions of the home (posted in several of the rooms). We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some relaxation and quiet. If you are not able to do multiple steps, there is at least one bedroom on the main floor, to alleviate that. Thank you for allowing us to share your home! We had a wonderful time!

Truly, a peaceful and relaxing home! The lakefront location offered spectacular sunrises, and sunsets from the spacious back deck. The house provided ample space for our 13 adults and had room for more if needed. Courtney was responsive to our questions and provided local tips of things to do and places to go. We utilized the kayaks and paddle boards the entire time and the availability of the pontoon boat rental Was a great amenity. This is a place worth visiting again.
