Everything is fine, the neighborhood is quiet. We left the vehicle parked on the street every day and never had a problem. It is worth noting the comfort if you travel with babies, as in our case it includes a chair, crib and there are even car seats.

We stayed here last year and loved it so much, we returned again this year! The host is very responsive and helpful. They made some updates in the apartment and it looks great! The location is great located right next to the rambla, coffee shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. I definitely recommend this place!

I was with the family in Montevideo and the accommodation is excellent, everything was spotless and very organized. The location is excellent, a couple of blocks from Pocitos beach and others from the center of Pocitos. Maria Amalia was worried from when you arrive until when one should leave. I would obviously come back here when I have to come to Montevideo again.

I had a great stay at Gaston's and I recommend choosing it. The room is comfortable and private. The house is quiet and located in a neighborhood with good connections to the entire city by public transport. Gaston is a very friendly host, he kept in touch and provided me with information. In addition, he allowed me to stay a while longer after check-out and stored my things so I could go out and tour the city before leaving. I would stay with him again.

Cozy apartment in the iconic Palacio Salvo

I stayed for a month. The building is spectacular, and right in the center of the city. Walking to Ciudad Vieja, Barrio Sur, Palermo, Cordón. You can easily get anywhere from here by bus, Uber, or the line of taxis always waiting right outside the door. The building is old, and you are in the center of a national capital metropolis, so there is noise - but what else would you expect? The kitchen was well appointed for such a small space. I was able to have friends over for dinner and cook a full meal just like I would at home. There are numerous groceries and laundry and banks and farmacias and all sorts of services you might want on the blocks surrounding the building. The rambla is blocks away. I only communicated with Paula by text, but she was quickly responsive to any inquiry I had (I didn't have many). The doormen in the building are quite friendly and helpful. I happened to be there for the recent change in government and saw both the former president Pepe and the king of Spain while running errands in the Plaza Independencia. What a treat to stay in such an architectural icon of the city!

Staying with Fernanda was like staying with family. She was super accommodating, gave me great recommendations and even brought me along to a beach and a concert of her band afterwards (the band is awesome, 100% recommend btw!). The accommodation looks exactly like in the pictures and the location of the flat is great - walking distance to the city center and La Rambla (really nice for an evening walk with sunset). The breakfast that Fernanda prepared was really tasty and she even borrowed me her bike (riding the bike along La Rambla is also a big recommendation). All in all, I am hoping that I can come back some time and do wholeheartedly recommend staying here. :)

A perfect stay at Marcelle's. I had an exceptional ten days thanks to Marcelle's kindness. The room was very nice, bright and quiet and with everything a tourist needs. The private bathroom was impeccable and well-equipped. Large living room and beautiful modern kitchen. Marcelle is a host who, through her professional experience in tourism and her travels abroad, knows the needs of travelers. She is very welcoming and spent a lot of time giving me information about Montevideo and she took me to the bus terminal twice. Marcelle offers a delicious breakfast with tea, coffee, bread, cheese and fruit. Marcelle is a generous person and I am grateful to her for opening her home to me with so much kindness and dedication. She deserves to be among the Superhosts for the quality of the services she offers. 10/10 and congratulations. I highly recommend this listing!

Gabriela's house is really nice, the patio gives the house a fresh air, it has a peach tree, you can sunbathe and also work at the tables. The room opens directly to the patio, which I thought was excellent, and the other door opens to the bathroom. Gabriela and her daughter are friendly people, respect personal space and give recommendations on what to do. I felt safe and comfortable in this place. It is also shared with a cat, a dog and a turtle💛. It is close to the boulevard, a mini-supermarket, and downtown. They have a filter for drinking water. Thank you!

Juan was very attentive from the beginning. He let me arrive early and its location is excellent. It is very close to the terminal and downtown, in addition to the Centennial and National stadiums. If it's for a couple of days, it's worth staying here

Ali is wonderful. A gentle soul and so kind and friendly. Her home is simple and clean. The space quiet. She gave me a taxi ride me to the airport and even asked her daughter - who works at the airport - to ensure that I was looked after and had a window seat for the spectacular landing in Chile.
