If you get a chance to stay here, do it! Matteo is a superb host who demonstrates knowledge and caring. He goes the extra mile without being asked and it really helped us when our car rental fell through. The cottage is very well stocked with anything you might need. It is especially nice to stay on site in the Monteriggioni Castle because after the day tripping tourists leave, the castle is mellow and beautiful. Because we have been away from home a long time, we needed to do laundry. The washing machine is in a small shed next to the cottage and a drying rack was provided. We tried two of the restaurants within the castle and felt both had excellent food and the service was attentive and friendly. The best thing I can say about this booking is that we would love to stay there again if our travels bring us back to Toscana.

Your place was exactly what we needed. Outside in the countryside and still very close to beautiful Siena. The place radiated calm, we felt at home right away. We were very happy with all the advices for trips, restaurants and places to see. Grazie mille!

Wow amazing cabin! Super quiet and private place, spacious and clean. It is easy to get to all the famous areas of Tuscany. The kitchen is fully equipped and clean, the living room has Netflix, a large and comfortable bathroom to use. We are a family of 5, and we had a short but pleasant stay at Marco's house on the April 25 bridge. The host was very helpful (he changed the arrangement of the beds to make all three of our boys sleep in the same room), the house is extremely clean and cozy, with all the comforts you expect (modern appliances, washing machine, microwave...) and even something more (thank you for the coffee pods!). We were amazed by the size of the house, more spacious than we would have expected based on the photos posted on airbnb. The house is in an ideal location to visit the historic cities (Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, etc...) and the parks in the area. Parking is easy enough to find nearby, although you should pay attention to street cleaning days. For those who want to get around by train, the station is a stone's throw away from the house. A stone's throw away is also a supermarket. Everything is perfect!
