The place was very nice and clean. The kitchen/ living room is small but enough if you are outside a lot. We liked the bedrooms with private bathroom very much and they are very practical. Lorenzo was a very accommodating host, thank you very much, we would book again anytime.

We had a magical stay at Ottavio's estate. After a warm welcome and very extensive, helpful tips for the area, there was only one thing left for us to do: slow down. The quiet location in the middle of nature is ideal to completely unwind. There's nothing missing! The cottage was cozy, the bed very comfortable & contrary to our expectations there were few insects. The bedroom is very cool and dark - perfect for relaxing nights. We particularly liked that our dog could live out his freedom, our and Ottavio's dog were really friends and played every day. Thank 😊 you so much for the wonderful time! Glad to come back! ✨

You open the gate to the property and think you've landed in paradise. We spent a fantastic two weeks in this dream house. The view of the bay and the village are amazing. The pool is huge and everything was well maintained. Valentina & Jacopo are very warm hosts with great tips who take great care of their guests. They came by often and cleaned the pool, mowed the lawn, etc. The house is super nicely decorated and you feel very comfortable there. The only thing I would have found great would be fly screens, so you can open the windows at night without being bitten, but that's really all. So, complaining at a very high level ;). The village of Monte Marcello is super nice and idyllically located, with a great view. From there we made excursions to Pisa, Florence, Lerici, La Spezia, the Cinque Terre, etc. To sum it up: It was a dream!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Frederico's house. The house is perfect for a couple with everything you need for self-catering and to quickly feel at home in a very private location. The house is situated on a hill between the golfo dei poeti and the bocca di magra. The view on both sides is fantastic and invites you to have a coffee in the morning or an aperitif in the evening for the planing of the next day's excursion. The village with its beautiful village square and the very nice bistro delle ragazze is nearby and some hiking trails start directly in the village. Many other beautiful destinations (such as Porto Venere, Cingue Terre, Sarzana and Tellaro) can be reached within 20-60 minutes by car. The service on site by Carla was perfect. Flexible and always available. We will be happy to visit Frederico again because our 5 days were far too short to fully enjoy the advantages of the house and explore the fantastic surroundings.
